I also speak in away that some people I speak to quick. So they don't catch what your saying..

I speak very quickly as well, it's can be hard to understand if you're not where I'm from, which is Fife, Scotland, also we use certain words which are not used elsewhere.

They might, but I didn't see anyone mentioning that, except from you, so unless they do, I don't see how you can make the judgement on whether one of the reasons they don't like Katie is because she's English.
