Well maybe did you think his heart wasn't in it? why would a guy continue down a career path if he didn't want to do anymore?

Not leaving because if you  leave will disappoint fans is no reason to stay and your one of those selfish wrestling fan that are never satisfied because when your girl Maryse eventually will leave the wrestling business to do more projects would that be her turning her back on the fans?
