Wrestlers never retire from the business. Terry Funk is a great example.

The guy is as physically fit as a tub of old lard that has sat in the sun for too long. Any good matches Flair had have already been tarnished by the overweight spotlight addict he has become. Flair is extremely overrated, and his airtime should be given to young wrestlers who can wrestle instead of waddling around like a pile of bricks.

"I hear them cry out in the night. Their screams tell a tale of pain, suffering, and destruction. Every ounce of forgiveness and acceptance has been ripped from them. My own Advocate has become this monster, this, devil. He abandoned his old life and became new. This, Angel of Chaos, must be stopped. It doesn't matter if the Heavens and Earth are destroyed in the process. Horono must be stopped."

sorry craig i have to disagree with you on this one they used ric flairs retirement as a storyline and i think the sendoff he received on raw was completely real i believe everyone thought tha ric flair had really wrestled his last match and the fans certainly did
personally i lost a lot of respect for ric for his constant shooting on other superstars in the industry but this one takes the buscuit the man was/is a legend in this business  but i dont think for one minute that wwe would have given him that sendoff if they thought he would ever get into the ring again

Vince didn't care about a send off. Vince wanted to end Flair's career simply because it wasn't something he created.

I'm considering doing a weekly blog on the state of wrestling.....for those interested and think that I should please send me a private message. I don't want to waste my time doing one unless I know it's going to be read.

-Thanks

Why is it people are all pissy about Flair, but no one gets upset over Terry Funk or Mick Foley?

Flair can still out wrestle some of the guys WWE has.

I can start naming people if you want.

He can cut a better promo than the majority of them too.

Because everyone knows at 60 years old, Ric Flair is still young enough to perform at 100% in the ring. Vince just hates him.

Flair retired last year and now he's out of retirement. If Flair is out of retirement then its his choice. I'm not gonna b*tch and moan about this. Will this make me not a Flair fan anymore? Not sure. Sorry Craig, I just don't know what to think of this. I'm kinda mixed about this.

Hmm, no not really. I mean, from what I know, he never wanted to retire in the first place.

Ric Flair is in much better shape than Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash. I remember when my idol Steamboat came out of retirement. He had a great match with Chris Jericho. The fact is wrestlers like Flair, Steamboat and Jannetty can still go in the ring.
