I think that's a large part of WWE's problem today and also why fans were so thrilled with Kofi two weeks ago. His promo (the one with the car that he cut on Orton) was the first decent one we've seen in a long time from someone other than Cena, Jericho, HHH, or HBK. Those guys are great, but having someone different cut an amazing promo like Kofi did (easily his best ever), really added a lot to the entire show.
WWE can have all the talent in the world, but the fact is we in America love drama. The success of Reality TV has proven that (Granted some of us here may not care for Reality TV but the majority of people do). What I don't understand is, WWE is pulling guys from FCW. Dusty Rhodes is down there. Why the hell can't these new guys cut a decent promo?
I'm considering doing a weekly blog on the state of wrestling.....for those interested and think that I should please send me a private message. I don't want to waste my time doing one unless I know it's going to be read.

I wanna thank Jeff for literally breaking his back for the sake of our business day in and day out. The fans should think him for all of the unselfish entertainment he has provided them in the past. Jeff would be the first person to admit he's not perfect-but his love to make children happy, and to make adults "OHH" and "AHH" as he performs for them is second to none. And I mean NONE! Jeff has always been respectful towards his fans, and the majority of fans have respect for him. For any of those "know it all guys" of the IWC that don't respect Jeff Hardy-you're all hypocritical ****es. Period. Jeff made one of your favorites, CM Punk, a legitimate main-eventer on Jeff's way out the door. So maybe you can at least find respect in that fact.

The Rock wasnt the best on the mic, there were plenty of great wrestlers who could work the mic. Rock just had charisma and personality, which is good, but at the same time doesnt make him the best.
As for Cena, I dont like how he sounds so robotic and sometimes it seems like he's trying too hard. The unnecessary yelling also annoys me, I know he's trying to put emotion into what he's saying, but yelling at the camera all the time is not the way to do it. You see someone like Jericho who can put emotion into his promos and he doesnt yell, he talks calmly. This is just personal opinion, but I think Cena needs to improve more on his mic work, he's always repeating the same thing, he should try and switch it up more. I'm just sad that the Rock walked away at his prime (I don't blame him). In my opinion he was the best. He was as witty as Jericho, and he could sensationalize his quips with out being too loud, repetitive, and annoying (like Cena).
