WWE & Twitter

Did anyone read the small note about how the WWE is getting a little concerned about the talent's use of Twitter. I was always wondering how they would handle the kayfabe/real life interaction of their talent. I know it said they are concerned about "drunken" tweets. I do know that some messages have been removed - i.e., the Wednesday after Jeff's retirement Eve had a note saying "we'll miss u Jeff" and that was taken off - I guess because it hadnt happened yet; when Tiffany broke her arm, her message was gone. I know that Matt has had some comments removed. Today, Jericho had a note saying - Hey you ever wonder...wait am I gonna get in trouble? I think the talent does a good job describing where their career and lives takes them. I just wonder how much control the company wants.

I personally think that it's sad and pathetic that the WWE won't let their stars tweet. I mean it is their personal life and they have all the right to share it on the internet if the wish. As long as they arent giving away to many secrets or talking about stuff backstage/ upcoming fueds etc. i just dont see the problem in them interracting with their fans. its sad that they have to monitor what they say in case they get into trouble. it really annoys me how WWE are always watching everyone and everything it's their lives and their choices. but thank you poster for posting this, i didnt know about this until now.
