Of course there were better matches in 2006 than this one. IMO, 2006 had a lot of memorable moments. But IMO, this was a good match, especially compared to what we get today.
I can name WWE matches from this week better than that. And all WWE shows were lackluster this week

I can name much more WWE 2006 matches better than that
Me too Kyle like Triple H vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania 22, Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle at No Way Out 2006, Rob Van Dam vs. John Cena at One Night Stand 2006, Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 22.
Or Londrick Vs MNM Judgement Day, Matt Hardy Vs Helms No Mercy, Rey Mysterio Vs Chavo Guerrero, Helms Vs Super Crazy and so on
Yeah I enjoyed those matches as well. 2006 was a good year for me as a wrestling fan. I became a fan of 2001 in 2001 and 2006 was honestly the best year of my life being a WWE fan.
The only good thing about WWE 2006 was Smackdown. Majority of the product ECW and RAW had was garbage
Amen to that Kyle. Smackdown had a great year in 2006, its a shame that we can't revist years like 2006 any more because WWE matches today are rather ho-hum except for Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels this year which is one of the best wrestling matches I've ever seen. WWE needs more good wrestling years like 2006 in terms of the wrestling.

i remember that match i was their live boy trish got the f out real after raw went off and they had cena for edge for the title in a dark match which edge had won.

Yes. Smackdown kept producing lots of great matches especially from the Tag Team and Cruiserweight Division. But I gotta disagree, Smackdown after the Draft 2009, they had lots of consistent episodes that makes you keep watching the show. The storylines (Punk Vs Jeff, Mysterio Vs Y2J) and the matches were really good. It went downhill however when Batista and Undertaker came
Raw and ECW however were garbage. DX dominating the whole show was horrible and childish and ECW was buried by Vince Mcmahon

I agree, Smackdown has gotten worse since Batista came back. ECW is somewhat gettin better but RAW is still in the same rut they have been in since 2006 and DX has gotten staler with age. DX was cool in the late 90's but now, not so much anymore.
