Report Regarding the RAW Guest Host for 11/9/09..........(READ)

The UK Sun is reporting that boxing star Ricky Hatton will be the guest host for WWE Raw on November 9 in Sheffield, England. According to the website, Vince McMahon was looking for an English star with a big enough profile in the United States to host the company’s flagship offering. Manchester-born Hatton fits the bill perfectly, with his fights against Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao generating huge pay-per-view numbers in the States in recent years. Other names in contention were Ricky Gervais and Lennox Lewis. The reasoning behind why Vince went with Ricky Hatton is that he feels Hatton is a name who will increase ticket sales for WWE’s house show tours around Europe as well as increasing the ratings in the UK and also in the USA.

RICKY HATTON will be the special guest host of Raw when the WWE hits the Sheffield Arena next month.

Officials from the wrestling promotion told SunSport the British boxing legend will head up the show when Raw rolls into South Yorkshire on November 9.

The Hitman will become the second boxer to appear on the programme after his old foe Floyd Mayweather Jr performed an identical role in August.

Yes...Tyson WAS better. If you followed his career..you'd know that. He allowed others to ruin his career...namely Don King.

..and as far as the ear biting, I would have done it too, with a cheater like Holyfield constantly headbutting me.

Boxers are paid to HURT people..not be nice guys.
