It's because WWE doesn't care much for wrestlers unless they are homegrown stars. WWE also made sure their stars looked more superior than former WCW and ECW stars during the Invasion storyline.

Except Austin.

I'm considering doing a weekly blog on the state of wrestling.....for those interested and think that I should please send me a private message. I don't want to waste my time doing one unless I know it's going to be read.

The Invasion storyline could've been one of the greatest storylines ever in pro wrestling. WWE just refused to allow the opposing side to look strong to feed their ego. I also didn't like the idea of Austin joining The Alliance.

I remember that ECW/WCW vs. WWF storyline and that was one of the most misguided storylines ever. It looked good on the paper but the way it was excuted was poor. I was Pro-WWF during that fued and I was in college back when that fued took place. WWE never even mentions it anymore and with good reason.

I give respect to users who post good opinions and bad opinions piss me off

The Alliance part of it was what ruined all of it I think. Why in the blue hell would ECW ever join WCW?

That was just stupid.

Had they had 3 separate factions trying to make each look strong, it would have been a great success and you'd see three separate brands today ALL of which would be successful.

Hasn't the "TNA moving to a WCW timeslot" been debunked on rumor sites hours ago?

I hope TNA does compete with WWE. They have worked so hard to build stars in that company like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Abyss, Hernandez, MCMG, Samoa Joe, Beer Money and Amazing Red. This is the dream of a real wrestling fan.

You guys do realize that TNA would only be competing against WWE for one hour instead of the full broadcast right?

Raw's timeslot is usually 9pm to 11pm.
TNA's timeslot will 8pm to 10pm.

This is smart of them for only competing for one hour.

I agree. I also think it's a smarter timeslot than 9 to 11 is.

Some people get it from 6pm to 8pm.

I get it from 6 to 8........but I live out west......

I'm on the West Coast too, but I switched from DirecTV to Charter so I get it at 9.

Getting over in TNA isn't exactly the same as getting over in WWE.

......

How so?

Is it because WWE has a wider audeince than TNA and is more developed?
