Definitely an original fan. I can't say I watched from the start, but I watched ECW every chance I got. I don't even know what ECW stands for anymore, but it sure isn't extreme. I want Extreme back.

It is lacking the extreme part. I'd guess soon we'll see a WcW brand introduce so we can see it die too, it's only fair. Also buy-out TNA and **** that up to Vince.

I never even heard of ECW until about the summer of '95. I had a friend sending the odd tape every now and again. I was instantly hooked. We didn't get any ECW TV, this way, until Living Dangerously 1999. Damn cable provider didn't carry the events...

I guess, by your standards, I don't qualify as a fan, but I'd rather watch an old ECW tape, than pretty much anything else...

I was a huge fan of ECW (going back to the NWA Eastern Championship Wrestling) and watched as ECW revolutionized the business... mixing Hardcore, Extreme (Which is NOT the same as Hardcore), Lucha and Oldschool wrestling.  They had the best Shoots, Promos, Wrestling and structure than any of the other Promotions.  No One could come close to ECW and still haven't.  ECW fans get a Bad Rap because people thought ECW was just about Hardcore Wrestling.  Truth of the matter is, ECW only had maybe 3 Hardcore Matches in their 4 hour Live Shows and the rest were High Flying Extreme Wrestling, Lucha Style, Catch/Shoot/Hook Wrestling.  ECW fans respected the Art of Wrestling and hated the old Pandering to the crowd like WWE and WCW did.  It was drama without the 20 minute speeches and mindless promos.
When The WWE First brought ECW back, it was great because it was done correctly, but once Heyman left it began to go to hell because no one in the WWE understood the concept of ECW.  They tried to mold it into the WWE System.  Now after years of trying to make ECW work, the WWE has given up on ECW as far as being a real brand.  In it's place is a Training Camp.  The Sad thing is, any one of us fans could make ECW work and without the use of Hardcore Wrestling.  But As much as we Tried to explain to the WWE what ECW was really about, no one listened and ECW fate is sealed as WWE proving grounds.
I now look back to the independents for the Next ECW.  We helped build the old ECW with our support and passion for the Promotion.  Now it's time to take that same ideology to build up a New Promotion free of the WWE's influence.  I think ROH or PWG Could be Built up to Give the WWE a run for their money

I suggest watching as much as you can. It was a true phenomenon.

Don't worry, I think you qualify. Living Dangerously was a pretty good PPV, not the best it could have been.

Been a fan of ECW since 1994.

stayed up one night with my brother and we saw Scorpio, Ron Simmons, Pillman, and Shane Douglas and since that time, we were hooked.
Not just an ECW original fan, not just a New ECW fan, but a REAL ECW Fan.

a proud supporter of the Straight-Edge lifestyle....Live by the X die by the X.

Would love for WWE to post a picture of me and my information in the ECW diehards section

ECW, ROH, PWG, Chikara, NWA, and "ECW on Scifi" are the best brands/feds in wrestling today...get it, got it...Good.

Ahh, luckily I lived/live in Philly so I was informed of this "Crazy-Ass" Wrestling show described by my uncle. And of course after him calling it that, I had to check it out. Best choice of my life.
