Goldust is amazing, that's why. He definitely needs a push to ECW Champion status.

Well the reason his pop was bigger than Cena's was first, it was 2002, everyones pop was bigger, the crowd was better. And two, it was his first time back to the WWE and no one knew he was returning

Goldust is just someone that everyone loves and because of his immense talent and mic skills, everyone wants more of Goldust. I wish WWE would realize that...

i remember kane and jeff hardy always getting the loudest pops even when kane was a heel and hardy was a lower midcarder. i remember seeing fans cheer roddy piper even after a replay of the coconut incident.
goldust is one of the best workers in wrestling. always evolving a little, one of the best powerslams from the snap whip position, and steadliy performed one of the strangest gimmicks ever. in other words, ppl cheer goldust because he has earned the respect that goes with it |

Goldust has been in the business long enough that he is respected. He should not just be a jobber. I had read that when he returned previously he was going to be built up as a heel, and possible opponent for Cena. I don't know how well that would have gone over, but I wish it had happened.

He keeps getting more and more over and WWE is too stupid to capitalize on his extreme overness. They need to desperately give him a push and you'll see how great things will be, his first singles win on ECW should be a sign that WWE may have finally realized that Goldust is way too talented in the ring and on the mic to be wasted and deserves the ECW World Championship.
