The crowd in Chicago for this Mondays Raw was amazing. They where energetic from the get go with their marvellous appalause for Bob Barker and where noisy all night, but other than that WWE crowds recently have been so quiet. Think back to the noise made back when Austin and The Rock where around. The Crowd where so loud. Does anyone else think its gone from WWE arenas. Is it because of poor standards or is the passion for it not there. We hear more This is boring chants now than this is awesome

It has gone down the cr@pper recently and its not just because of the PG rating but also the lack of quality of several matches and the predictable storylines and also some bad comedy matches.

I agree. However, I find at House Shows lately, the atmosphere is estatic. I reckon this is because the WWE never come to places like Australia, England often, making the fans extra excited about the upcoming night.

why should we be exicited about stuff we can predict and stuff we see every week. dx & cena vs. legacy in some form isnt exiting anymore. it happens every week and before the show starts we know that is the match going to be made for the main event.

Most of it is in Canada and the Impact! zone.

(Points and laughs at Morrison vs. Mysterio from 2 weeks ago when fans started chanting "This is awesome!")

Maryse IS The SEXIEST of the SEXY.
And you just can't deny that.
RAW will continue to suck until Maryse comes back...then it will just suck less.

Canada, L.A, Chicago, New York, imo has the best atmosphere.

It seems like today's WWE fans only cares about Main Eventers. I mean, back then, fans would cheer for guys who are mid-carders or low-cards but now, they only care about Main Eventers.
Step up cause you're the next one in the line for the kill. You don't believe it but I'm betting that you will.
Stand up! I'll let you live with the pain that I bring. You know it's only the beginning.

Its because of the kids who dont have a clue about the product which is why the atmosphere is better in places like N.Y and Canada where there are less kids in the crowd. Also, in England and Australia where it isnt as cool for kids to like WWE and wrestling.

It's always lame watching a show with a dead crowd. Chicago had a great atmosphere last week, and with Raw being in Canada next week, I expect the same, they always get so into the shows. Although, imo, fans don't have a reason to be so excited as they once were. It's not as entertaining of course, and it's the same main events or whatever. And yeah, they only care about main eventers. The mid-carders, lower card guys, and divas get nothing, unlike many years ago when the crowd would be booming all night. It's pretty sad Scared

Honestly, I think it's the main events. Also, it can be repetitive. For me, it was the internet. The fans who haven't been so exposed to the internet, or "marks", mostly kids, they enjoy the show. They feel that atmosphere. They go to WWE shows and it will be a lifetime memory for them. Wrestling was better when you didn't hear about the ratings, the reports, etc. I loved it. That, in my opinion, is when the atmosphere died, for me anyway. I wouldn't focus on the crowd because I was excited for the show.
