He didn't destroy WCW or ECW. They destroyed themselves. Vince even promoted ECW when they were in competition. Vince Russo Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash as a booker destroyed WCW. Get your facts sraight.

that would be a excellent idea and bring back the ecw tag team championship and give it to ecw so there better matches and storylines,i think ecw will get better with all the changes that theyy made! go ecw

Their actions may have caused a decrease of viewership or perceived quality.  However, WWE purchasing the ECW and WCW brands lead to their destruction.  Had McMahon not bought his major competitors, WWE would still need to provide a quality product.  It is simple economics.  Without competition in a virtual monopoly, quality does not have to be an issue because anybody who wants the product has to come to you no matter how crappy your product is.
