You don't get over with the crowd just by being a good wrestler... Many good wrestlers were never over with the crowd. You have to have a good character and good mic skills. That's why Maryse is currently the most over diva.
Then why I can't hear boos in her entrance? 
Are you actually trying to deny the fact that Maryse is the most over character in the diva division? Please name one diva that is currently more over than her. WWE has done a great job of marketing her and she has played her character to complete perfection. She wouldn't of won the Diva's title if she wasn't extremely over.
Mickie James? Melina? The pop they get is way louder than the heat Maryse gets.
Ps: If it was last month, my answer would be Vickie Guerrero, she was probably more over than Cena 
The thing about Maryse was that she was over with the crowd when she was going against non talented wrestling divas like Maria, McCool, Kelly Kelly etc but now that she is going against a fan favorite and one of the best wrestlers in the roster Mickie James.
Maryse lost her pop that is the reason why i said divas today need to know their place
why is Beth going against girls like Kelly Kelly where she can have a good match against someone like Gail Kim.
it is depressing to not only us but also Beth who rightfully deserves to show her true talent and skills. WWE is disrespecting her by not doing this

Just because Vickie was a female it doesn't mean she was a diva...
And Mickie James character is beyond stale right now. Her reaction is nothing compared to what it used to be. If WWE had any brains they would turn her back into Psycho Mickie.
Why do you think Maryse has the belt and everyone is high on her backstage? She's the most interesting diva character in the past year and by quite a few miles. Her psychology while playing her character is truly amazing.

did you wach RAW last monday when she won the match she got a good pop and when she faced Maryse and pointed her crowd to the fans she got claps and a standing ovation
people keep saying she is stale but the fans still care about her and that is the most important thing

As I said, I can't hear people booing Maryse, while Mickie still has the biggest heat of the current divas (the Vickie thing was just a lol)
And I think Mickie needs something new in her character, not something that worked in the past. The psycho persona was cool, she even made people boo Trish, the top face diva, in a Wrestlemania, but using this gimmick again is a total lack of creativity, IMO.

That's how good Mickie is though, even with a stale character she can draw some crowd reaction. She needs a gimmick change pretty badly though... her reaction is absolutely nothing compared to what it use to be Face or Heel.

Why are people rewriting history? What's the point? Let's be factual here. The most OVER divas on the WWE roster right now are: Mickie, Melina and cases can be made for Maria and Beth. Anyone who doesn't think Mickie and Melina get the biggest pops in WWE right now are just lying to themselves and distorting the facts to try and prove their points.
Maryse gets an initial pop because of her looks. She is not an interesting character and she sucks in the ring. Her character can be so much more but she is stuck on level one and hasn't done anything to add anything to it. Its the same **** ALL THE TIME from her. Maryse is just one step above indy.
Saying pro wrestling and MMA and boxing are all the same is a bit like saying ducks, swans and geese are all the same. Sure, they share some common DNA, but they're still clearly different.

Anyone can be over with the crowd if marketed right and given a good sum of screen time/attention.
In Canada it's a tradition

Probably the same way heel-Melina used to get face pops during her entrance. They didn't like Melina. They liked her entrance.
And in all honesty, Maryse's character ISN'T all that interesting. It just appears that way because no other woman on the roster has ANY character at all. It's like if you put a bunch of earth worms in a line. There's nothing remotely interesting about any of them, except the one at the end which is dull blue as opposed to dull brown.
Maryse's cocky character is very, very basic, and is represented on a much, much better scale by Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, and at its most elite in Chris Jericho. There's no real depth behind it. It just looks like it's got heaps of depth because you have heels like McCool, Layla, Alicia etc. whose gimmick is "bland smirk on my face before I leave the backstage area."
