One thing is obvious: the creative team of WWE (a.k.a. ASSCLOWNS) are turning C.M. Punk heel. I think John Cena is WAY overdue for a heel turn, but that is a topic for another thread.
Here is my idea why they are turning C.M. Punk heel: Wth Edge and Chris Jericho on the tag team circuit now Smackdown needs a main event heel and the pickings are slim. Dolph Ziggler is not ready, Shelton Benjamin went to ECW, Khali, Finaly and John Morrison are faces now and the Hart Dynasty is not main event material. Therefore C.M. Punk or Jeff Hardy, one or the other, had to turn heel. I personally think WWE should have just traded a heel from another brand to pick up the vacent "main heel" spot on Smackdown such as Jack Swagger or Mark Henry (before he turned face) from ECW or the Big Show from RAW If that failed why not just give Kane the main event storyline he has not had in years and make him the "main heel" on Smackdown? Here is my idea why turning C.M. Punk heel is a BAD IDEA: Main event heels out on injury or vacation: 0 Main event faces out on injury or vacation: 3 (The Undertaker, Batista and Shawn Michaels) It seems to me WWE needs another main event face right now more then they need another main event heel. This may be why they turned Mark Henry face by beating up Randy Orton on RAW last week, but do they really think Mark Henry would make a better face then C.M. Punk and C.M. Punk would make a better heel then Mark Henry? Bad idea I think, but we will all be watching either way =D |

I'm not digging the way they are turning him heel. I like the fact that he will become a heel, but this injury **** sucks. I just wish they will come up with a better way for him to become heel. Like when he did the GTS on Morrison. The whole "you don't know what his motive is" kind of thing. That was cool. This injury thing is lame. Punk forfeit a match! That sucked. If he is not going to have that attitude he had in ROH, I want him to stay as a face. He's bada$$ and they shouldn't degrade him by making him do stupid things like forfeit.
