The problem with Shelton, and why he doesn't get enough heat, is the fact that he loses too often.  His last couple of feuds were booked badly.  His matches with Taker, which were really good, should have been built upon in his battles with R-Truth and John Morrison, but in the end he only one one or two matches out of about 6 or 7 against those two.  I don't think he actually beat JoMo at all.

People hated it when Kozlov beat Undertaker, and Matt Hardy, and others, and that's why Kozlov is good.  He wins.  And people don't like it.  Same with heel Triple H.

If Shelton is booked as a threat, people will accept it.  like before Wrestlemania, when he had a mini-feud with Taker, it looked like it was going to lead to him having a great Royal Rumble, and possibly a money in the bank win, but then the bookers didn't do anything with him.

If Shelton went on an arrogant, cocky winning streak for a few weeks over fan favourites, he would get a lot of heat.  This week, and last week on Smackdown proved he is charismatic, articulate and intelligent, and let's face it - this week was a feud starting match with Yoshi.

It's all set for those two to have a good feud with excellent matches.

Alright I'm back on the thread, Benjamin has always deserved to be pushed, but ignorant fans and WWE say he can't because he doesn't have mic skills and no charisma. He has improved greatly than most main-eventers today. All of you who say Shelton won't get pushed are really running out of excuses to make why he won't. You should just show support and hope WWE finally pushes this amazing athlete to main event.

Yeah, thats because there's only one reason WHY he doesn't get pushed.

His lack of charisma and mic skills.

Thats it, thats the sole reason, but its an enormous reason as to why he isn't in the main event.

I honestly want to know how your supposed to to talk on the mic and show charisma, because Shelton has done both of those things u claim he hasn't

Easy, when you say something, no matter what, you get a reaction. Its what all main eventers do. Hogan did it, Rock did it, Austin did it, even in todays world: Edge, Jericho, Cena, Batista and Orton all do that. Doesn't mean they have good mic skills (case in point Batista) but the crowd gives a damn when he says something. They don't with Shelton.

And see that's the **** 9i n g point of this thread!!!! He has been getting reactions lately because he's actually on the mic, all the Benjmain doubters just leave, you're wrong and you know it.

Really..so because we disagree with you, we are wrong? By that logic, I can say you are wrong about Orton for the same reason.

He barely got a reaction on Smackdown against R-Truth and how much is it saying when he gets it on Smackdown, who can dub in cheers and boos?
On ECW, he cut a promo that anyone could cut and get a reaction with so that doesn't say he is charismatic.

Ehh excuses, excuses, he could turn out to be the best and just because people don't like them, they will still be critics.

Just like you are with Jeff Hardy?

Yeah but he's not actually improving on the mic like Benjamin is, and never will, you can tell Benjamin's improving, look if no one else sees it just because all they care about is how you talk and not wrestle then fine, that's why Miz is in the mix even though he sucks at wrestling, he attacks Cena and gets put in the spotlight so of course he has fans.

See..that is where you are wrong. Jeff HAS improved his mic skills and I guess you are eating your own words now and are backtracking. And wrong again...did RAW not prove it Miz can have a solid match and actually have abilities?

Face it..Shelton is nothing special or to write home about.

Miz wishes he had an arsenal of moves like Benjamin, instead of the same s h it like the neckbreaker and a clothesline in the corner, yeah that would impress maybe someone who's never watched wrestling, if I had a company, The Miz would be Benjamin's luggage carrier, and if Benjamin would have been the one attacking Cena, you hypocrites would have jumped on his bandwagon and not Miz's.

So just because he doesn't have a 15 move arsenal means he can't wrestle? I don't know if you realize this but it has never mattered how many moves you have in wrestling to be considered good. Miz showed he can carry a good match against a top guy and thats all you can really ask for from an unproven guy in the ring.

And I'm not on the Miz bandwagon because of that. I'm an original Mizfit from 2005.

Miz  showed he can cut a good promo on the mic because WWE never gave up on him in just two eeks., but you can't say Miz had a great match just because he had the advantage for the majority of the time with Cena. All Miz does done that eeven remotley innovative is his turnbuckle clothesline and hes even gotten sloppy with that. His match at The Bash was **** and it was **** on RAW. Its like Cena vs Cena Couple of basic suplex and grapple choke holds and then the Adititude Adjustment to end it. The Miz is getting main event matches that Shleton has always deserved more. And if all it took to be in the main event was talk decent on the mic and do a couple of basic moves the evry superstar would be contending for the gold

So because he isn't "innovative" means he can't have a good match? How does that make any sense? That's like saying "Hey..if Shelton doesn't flip off something, its not a good match." The match on RAW between Cena and Miz was a good match and proved that Miz can hold his own and prove the naysayers wrong that he can in fact carry a match and that is all you can ask for from a young unproven guy.
And you people say the Shelton dislikers are ignorant towards him yet you are being no different with the Miz.

Correction, your being no different with Shelton. You claim Miz can hold a his own in a great match angainst Cena that wasn't even good. But Shelton holds his own in every match hes in. Your contradicting yourself. Its obvious you dont like Shelton and would rather watch soap opera promos and bad wrestling than the other way around with The Gold Standard putting on great matches and not talk on the mic so much

Man I was just about to say that, I guess there's two kind of fans, the ones that like great wrestling matches like you and me and then the ones who think if you sound good on the mic and one of the muscle heads dominate you in a match until they win, still predictable and boring.

Great wrestling fans think alike

Really..how am I being contradicting? I never talked about Shelton's wrestling. I was focusing on Shelton's mic skills or lack thereof. You are the one thats choosing not to see that it was a good match to benefit your own argument.
And lol@ the last two sentences. Sure..whatever you say. I want to see bad wrestling. Yep, you know me so well.

I'm saying your contradicting because your saying Miz put up a great match even though it wasn't great beacause all Miz did was basicly choke hold and use his two moves he has untile Cena got his super strength to win. You say he can carry his own as a great superstar just because he can talk on the mic while getting the fans attention. But Shelton has amazing matches throughout his whole career but u say he isn't champion material because he doesn't talk on the mic alot or at all. Both wrstlers have the same but different problem. Miz is good on the mic as a heel, but his moves are just basic and boring, while Shelton has mediocore(but getting better) mic skills but master like wrestling skills. You prefer Miz even though he also lacks a trait to be in your case a world champ, but you say Shelton can't be champ because of his so called poor mic skills (which I still don't think are bad). C'mon dude just admit you don't like good wrestling and prefer soap opera promos because so far I feel I do know u, very well. A so-called wwe fan who doesn't appreciate good wrestling but people who talk the whole show away.
