Matt Hardy went to SmackDown quickly. They sent him there to ECW in the first place to test the waters as to how he could do on his own.
Big Show was sent to ECW because it was just starting up and needed star power. benoit went to ECW because of the same reason Finlay or Regal did: He was an older midcard wrestler who was a decent veteran that could teach the younger wrestlers.
I speak in Kayfabe because that's how wrestling is supposed to be watched. I enjoy it, unlike the smarky sheep that fill the Internet Wrestling Community.

To me, it looks like a bunch of people are just trying to get a huge Benjamin fan upset. Thats pointless.
ECW is for a third category you failed to mention. You said where older stars help make younger ones and for young talent to rise, but you failed to mention that its to help wrestlers reach that next level. Matt Hardy came to ECW as a midcarder and left a championship contender... took the momentum to Smackdown and was doing well before the crappy trade to RAW. Christian is doing well over on ECW, not because he is washed up or young.... its to help him reach new levels. John Morrison made himself. The Miz helped create his character. I feel when Benjamin made his first jump to ECW it was for the same reasons, but they pulled the trigger too quick and moved him over to Smackdown. I think that while on ECW he will be the champion. Sure, I doubt the WWE management will ever push him to WWE or World champion but still, at least he will be able to boast an ECW title run.

WWE are complete no brainers when it comes to shelton benjamin, they give him all these opportunities and then just bury him, bravo WWE

Shelton Benjamin is a black version of Randy Orton. Almost the same moves, different "FINISHER", however the same body build along with the same MOVE SET. I've seen the similarities for months now...and the fact that "The Gold Standard" has been "traded" to ECW pretty much solidifies the fact. If you can't see it...than you are an idiot. He's a great performer but has bad mic skills...which means nothing since Orton speaks one word per minute.
Whatever...Benjamin is the black version of Orton, thus he has been demoted to ECW. Racial contradictions. MVP should have beaten HHH with one arm behind his back...but he had to perform down to HHH level, hence he was beaten by an out of date "finisher" like the pedigree. McMahon and the WWE are racist. It's blatantly obvious. |
