Goldust's mic skills are very good, look up videos of when he was a heel back in the 1990's, classic promos that actually got into your mind, what the original Goldust character was all about. His ring skills are also good, even in recent matches you could see he was much faster for a guy his size and also with a technical side and not just a brawler(which he does quite well). I was really disappointed he wasn't used on ECW tonight but I will keep my hopes up for a definite appearance next week on ECW, it sucks that it'll be on Thursday, have to wait longer for Goldust to debut! But I'll be waiting anxiously!

Goldust could be awesome if they pulled him away from the comedy and move his character into a darker persona. He was cool with Booker T and all, but the humor pulled him into becoming something ridiculously irrelevent. I would like to see him accomplish something serious as Goldust, but if he has to do it as Dustin, then so be it.

I'd like to see Goldust go back to being "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes. His daddy also wrestled in ECW.

I remember reading before that one of the creative people wanted to update Goldust, and make him a big heel.
This could work. They could go the dark route like how TNA did. Make Goldust a sadistic joker type of character, maybe similar to Ravens promo style. He could pull it of easily. Or they could keep the Goldust persona, and maybe update his outfit, and make him more edgier, and aggressive. |

Yeah, I totally agree. I always saw Goldust being able to pull of a Joker style sadistic character, and definitely dump any comedy at all. Even though his teaming with Booker T as a comedy team was amazing, it ended up being his downfall as he ended up being a comedy character used sporadically. Goldust needs to return to a serious, sadistic heel character and I know that he can become a huge heel character if they let him do it right and dump all the comedy.

Goldust is an amazing technical wrestler and anyone who does not know that needs to watch more of him in the early 2000's and the late 1990's.
Goldust should get a HUGE push now that he is on ECW. He should tag with Hurricane. That would be EPIC! E-C-DUB! The Arabian Facecrusher Sαвυ Dr.Stevie Richards!

Yeah, WWE just needs to give him a heel turn, freshen up his gimmick to be sadistic and really freakish and dump all comedy from him. Goldust has all the potential in the world and deserves the ECW World Championship.
