Shelton's been given endless chances to prove himself ready for something more than mid-card and he's failed each time. His ring skills are good but get boring after a while, he needs to freshen up his move-set and his mic skills have regressed over time. When he first debuted the Gold Standard gimmick, he really surprised me but then they went downhill. I agree that they should avoid putting Goldust into comedy angles anymore and I strongly hope they push Goldust to ECW Title contention(as a heel of course) while Shelton hones himself. I do not want him released but the way that it seems to be going, Shelton may land there because most people who move onto ECW usually improve themselves and save themselves from being released(DH Smith, John Morrison, The Miz etc) so with Shelton having to go there twice, it looks like they may have lost hope in him, we can only see, but I know that Shelton has the potential but sometimes I feel like he doesn't try hard enough like there was a time when I remember he was botching loads of his moves while he was the US Champion and maybe before while he was on ECW. I can only hope that he tries harder to impress people some more with his ring skills and improve his mic skills on ECW this time around so to get people really behind him.

Swagger is gone.  Mark Henry is gone.  Hart Dynasty is gone.  Finlay is gone.  The point I am trying to make is that every heel is gone from ECW (Finlay goes back and forth).

I really don't think there is any doubt that Shelton is the top heel on ECW now and should be getting some title matches.  Unless of course they screw things up like they always seem to do with Shelton and try some crappy comedy angle with the Gold Standard and Goldust.

Looking at the roster, the top 3 heels IMO are Shelton, Regal, and Kozlov.  Shelton should be able to get an ECW title match by Summerslam, if not earlier at NOC.

Yeah thats true

I have no idea how to take this.

Yeah, he has an opportunity to win the ECW title.  A feud with Christian would be good, but what else it there to do?

Yeah, he was constantly on his back lately on Smackdown, but he was still putting on good matches.

The last time they sent him to ECW.  He wasn't there long and he went to Smackdown and won the U.S. Title.

I was looking foward to him putting on great matches with guys like Mysterio, Edge, Punk, Hardy, etc.

I guess one good thing that will come from this is that he's probably sure to win another Most Underrated Award.

Is a lack of charisma reason to banish someone to Tuesday Nights?

They knew he supposedly "lacked charisma" when he was a 2 time Tag Team Champion, a 3 Time I-C Champion, and a U.S. Champion.

I guess this could be a good thing, because C.M. Punk, John Morrison, Big Show, Kurt Angle, and He who shall not be named were once a part of the ECW roster.

Maybe he can get some proper promo time so he can work on his mic skills and whoop tomato cans until Vince thinks he's ready again.

As a huge fan of Shelton, I'm definitely concerned.

Yes, hopefully. Wouldn't mind seeing Regal as ECW champion either.

Regal is awesome.

Two excellent challengers for Tommy Dreamer.

Yeah, but ECW is better for him. On SD, he would just be jobbing to R-Truth and Cryme Tyme. Here on ECW, he has a clean plate where he can pick up victories and maybe turn face...he hasn't been face in a long time.

Agree with the fact that Shelton needed to move.  He was losing every week on SD.  On top of that, the heels were starting to add up on SD.  Jericho and Edge are a given.  They were clearly trying to establish Ziggler.  CM Punk looks to be turning heel. and now they added Matt Hardy and the Hart Dynasty.  As far as turning face, I would have said yes if he was still on SD considering how many few faces they have now.  He needs to be a heel on ECW right now.  Looking at the roster, Dreamer and Christian are the top faces.  With the trade, they lost their top heels, who were all in the scramble match.  Who is ECW's top heel?  It is certainly not DJ Gabriel or Zack Ryder.  Apparently Kozlov is a face now.  That leaves 2 people that ECW got in the trade, Shelton and Regal.  With that, I think Regal is there to take the spot of Finlay as kind of that veteran presence in the locker room.  Shelton is in a good position right now as a heel on ECW.
