I think Jericho is right...everything that he said seems to be right! I mean, he said that taking the mask off would be what's best for Mysterio and I think that's correct. Look, if Rey would remove the mask then what's the problem with that..he thinks right now that the whole world doesn't know how he looks like. But?! Come on, go to photobucket and search for Rey Mysterio, you will see several pictures of him not wearing a mask and posing for the camera. But if it is for Rey's heritage why would he expose it to people and then at WWE he wears the mask. Why not completely remove the mask since he has been posing for cameras unmasked. It's the same thing. If ever he loses at the ba**** just like he posed for camera. If there isn't something that Mysterio is hiding from us then why don't he bravely take his mask off? And it's not about the merchandise it is already there. Rey mysterio started with a mask and even if he would be unmasked this sunday they could still continue selling Rey's Masks for his fans since it's his trade mark. And in Mexico I don't think that's a tradition..Eddie and Chavo Guerrero they don't wear masks.

Its not that mysterios afraid of people knowing wat he looks like,its more of him wanting to stay true to luchador tradition

honestly...I think loosing the mask would hurt Mysterio career wise. It's the only thing that puts him apart from the rest of the WWE, he looses that...and...he's just another small guy. When he lost his mask in WCW he almost disappeared within their roster, he became another small guy in the cruiserweight div. Not to mention it is a mexican tradition to have a mask (especially with his family). Lucha libre all the way!

How can some of you people say that he is helping! Rey Mysterio is not Mysterio without his mask and Chris Jericho said that he does not need his fans - so how could you agree with him - you are a fan! Rey is face he is a high flying geinius and the master of the 619 - Chris Jericho is a little heel freak who is trying and failing to remove the well earned pride of Rey Mysterio that Chris Jericho lost for himself! he is not helping cant you see that!

I agree with you all the way.Mysterio should lose that mask.Everybody knows what he looks like anyway.Then mask is getting old. Mysterio needsa new fresh start and a perfect way to do that is Jericho removing it.Jericho is right about everything.
