If ring talent was all you needed in this business, he'd be a main eventer. Unfortunately that's not the case. You have to have presence in the ring and be able to bring everyone to attention when you start talking. Shelton's just not there yet.

For Shelton to become a Top Dog he needs to get over with the fans. It's really us who decides their future. There's plenty on here who say how great he is but when you go to a lvie show all you hear when Shelton comes out is either boos or You Suck! chants.
I think he needs to be put in a Face role. Become a good guy and get the majority of fans behind him.... put him up against people 'we' hate and let him win. The likes of Chris Jericho, Edge, Ricky Ortiz... I just think the fans are deciding Sheltons future at the moment. I also think he mighta been best placed staying on Raw.
