No, they are just burying him.
He should be world champion, and he does have mic skills, just nobody remembers them because the last time they let Benjamin touch a mic was like 2, 3 years ago
Yeah true but someone always has to have a lame excuse on Benjmain and that's the only thing they can come up with.

he's a decent wrestler but he's got no charisma or mic skills...
Haven't heard that one but a million times, I wont even say anything about that ridiculous comment like I usually do and decent?!!!! Don't you mean to say the best athlete in the WWE?
every match he's been in is forgettable... and so what if he the "best" athlete? thats pretty much meaningless in pro wrestling. Athleticism doesn't sell merchandise and it doesn't sell tickets.

You're right, so I'm assuming you'd rather go to a show with a bunch of juiced up monkeys wrestling, get real, Vince's chooses which guys he wants to be the top drawers and everyone likes them because of that, that's why they're called mindless sheep.

This is pro wrestling, it doesn't matter if you're a great technical wrestler... if you don't have charisma and you can't excite the crowd you don't belong in pro wrestling.
When Benjamin was a face and feuding with HHH a while back almost nobody cared...thats because he's so mind-numbingly dull and boring.

Like I said it has nothing to do with the charisma, he really can't show all that anyways because the writers limit him to so much, it's wherever Vince wants the superstar to be that matters, like do you really think Batista has charisma? No but he gets over because Vince wants him to and feels he has the look.

You must be talking about Batista or Orton...
If he'd get some time, he could actually develop the "oh so important" mic skills. He doesnt get any time so what do you expect ... still he puts up great matches. I'd rather see someone who actually has some serious wrestling skills, putting up an awesome match than seeing that "charisma" and "merchandising selling ability" of Orton, Batista ...etc.
It's pretty simple ... WWE needs to give him a little more time and stop burying him ... he won like 5 matches since the beginning of 2009 and lost 20+ ... it that isnt burying I dont know what is ...at least with MVP the losing was a storyline.
If WWE doesnt realize what they have in Shelton Benjamin someone else will ... I just hope he talks to WWE creative or Vince about that sometime. Every week I hope to see him get a win or at least more time ... hopefully this time comes soon.

Its not his fault his character is getting stale. He is a great athlete but the wwe universe have had little opportunity to see beyond that. He has hardly ever been on the mic.

Every week I hope Sheltons charecter will build up and WWE would stop misusing him. I'll never quit on him, but I feel he needs to say something to WWE Officials or Vince himself.
