Because heels don't kiss ass they go out their and kick ass. They tell it like it is like my favorite Chris Jericho. Chris kicks ass and tells everybody off and he doesn't kiss ass like Hardy or Mysterio. Heels are cool and Jericho is the top heel.Super Happy

Another reason is that ever since the Attitude Era, WWE fans have started loving heels. This is because the highest drawing guys like Steve Austin, the Rock, the Undertaker, etc., all exhibited heel-like characteristics despite being a face.
But IMO, Lots of people just dislike the faces just to act "Cool" and to fit in with the IWC otherwise, they'd be called as "Marks"


This also informs the "badass by proxy" fan who cheers the bad guy because it makes them feel as they are also somehow more of a badass themself.

Some of us are just fans. I've adored CM Punk all through his being a face and now that he's starting to turn heel, I expect a bunch of bandwagoners to show up. I probably won't hang around here much because it will be like... "Wait... we're you the guy calling him CM Junk 2 months ago?" I don't have time for that little war.

For me anyways, the faces that constantly pander to the crowd are really annoying. They seem like they care SO much about what the crowd thinks of them. There are always the faces, though, who I really love. It's not so much that I specifically pick to cheer someone if they are a heel, I look at each character individually and decide if I like them.

i actual like faces but the top faces bore me (except christian) its guys like kofi mvp r-truth john morrison and evan bourne that i like to watch.

I still believe Morrison is a key part in the future of this company, along with guys like Tyson Kidd, Evan Bourne and etc.

I just see it as you should stick by your favorites, regardless if they're the "good guy" or "bad guy"

I for one, like faces and heels. For me, it's usually the style of the wrestlers that make me like or dislike him or her. I can't stand guys like Cena/Tista/Miz, guys who are only where there are because they have 'the look'. I like Shawn Micheals/Edge/Christian/Cm Punk/Chris Jericho/Brian Kendrick, guys who are where they are in the business because of their ring work and abilities. Generally smaller guys like that are heels because Vince McMahon doesn't think it's believable for guys of that size to win cleanly. And if they are faces they are usually underdogs like Rey Mysterio/Cm Punk/Jeff Hardy/etc.

The biggest problem is that, often, the heels have more character than the faces. Guys like Edge and Jericho play their roles so well that people are attracted to them.

But there are faces, like Christian and Morrison, that have enough charisma and ability that hopefully, people will begin to cheer for the good guys again.
I solemnly swear to discuss issues with intellegence, reasoning, and try to rise above the myriad of morons.

If the "E" in WWE stands for "entertainment," why is Cryme Tyme still on TV?
