Mr. Kennedy
I'm also being completely unbiased. Kennedy is a better in-ring performer than Orton and he's also better on the mic. The only thing Orton has over Kennedy is the advantage of being reliable. Aside from that, Kennedy owns Randy Orton.
Not being reliable means being a better ring performer? How many times has Orton been called dangerous in the ring..to himself or others?
I like Kennedy well enough...but he'd never been the kind of draw that justified the immense hype behind him. It was always "This time...he'll reach the top.."
Mr. Anderson having unfortunate mishaps doesn't take away of how talented he is. When we're looking at talent, he's way ahead of Orton. I could care less how many times Randy has been called dangerous in the ring. Ken's also not "dangerous" in the ring, just too stiff for the softies in the WWE right now apparently.
Ken never got a chance to do so because of injuries, but if you're talking about pure skill? Mr. Anderson had enough of that to live up to the hype. If he had stayed in the ring, he would be champion right now. Also, you think Orton is? LOL.... No buddy. Randy Orton is built off of hype alone. His talent sure doesn't measure up to what some think of him.

I think Bob Holly would disagree with you. MVP as well...and well, Ken's WWE career.
Skill HAS to involve the ability to be safe with your partner in the ring, and with your own body. If it wasn't..any yokel could jump in the ring, and do some backyard wrestling on Raw cameras. (and no, I'm not saying Kennedy is as bad as one of those idiots)
Of course Bob Holly would, he'll disagree with any praise given to Mr. Anderson. I'll leave that up to you to figure out why. MVP? LOL....I won't speak on that one. Let's just not get me started on MVP.
You're right, Ken's WWE career would disagree with me. I'm glad you specifically mentioned his WWE career. Thank you for agreeing with me. I'll give you a second on that one.
I'm sure these wrestlers all want to be in the ring with someone who knows what they're doing with their own bodies and theirs, so it is a MUST. Here's a nice example for you though: William Regal. He's a stiff worker. Is he not a better in-ring performer than Randy Orton just because some say he's not "safe" in the ring. Just how you say skill "has" to involve the ability to be safe in the ring, skill also has to involve one very important thing: skill. I'll give you a minute.

I have problems with Regal too....so that in no way interferes with my argument. The guy is so busy trying to look "hard hitting" that he isn't always safe. Hell...he near broke Orton's neck. No way should that be acceptable.
We wouldn't have a show to be debating about, if that sort of thing was okay. It's not fine when Regal does it...or Kennedy. I think there's a safe allowance for being stiff. Taking a punch isn't a huge deal in my opinion...
I'm not shocked that you completely missed my point. I'm not debating whether what they're doing is okay or not. That actually isn't what I was getting at with my first post.
This "debate" is over sir.
