You're saying just because he's young he's overrated?
Randy Orton is younger and has has I don't know many world title reigns!. Also The Rock,HBK and Mankind had the world titles when they were young
I don't think Cm punk is overrated.
I don't see any problem with him, he is good on the mic(mostly from his roh days). He is a good worker and is good inside the ring.
But it's time to push the younger talent and cm punk is a good choice

I don't see what's so overrated about CM Punk, sorry (I don't think he's underrated either because he's getting the attention he deserves). He can actually wrestle (though the WWE has made him tone down his moveset) and though he's not given enough airtime he's very eloquent and he can cut a good promo. He was a huge star on the indy circuit for a reason.
It's really not his fault he loses matches; if anything you guys should go and blame the bookers because they're the ones who set up the outcomes of the matches themselves.
Orton has had 3 World title reigns! That's nothing compared to Triple H, The Rock, Edge, etc..
CM Punk is over-rated! There are many superstars that are better than him, and he has been pushed SO many times! He's a slammy award winner, he won the World title and the ECW title, he won Money In The Bank, he won the I.C. Title, Tag titles and he's defeated like every superstar in his path and you're saying he needs a push? Hmmm.. I think he is so over-rated for only being with WWE for 3 years.
How about Orton?
He got his first world title reign in a very short year in WWE
People are just overrating Orton
His just a heel thats why. Its like when a superstar is heel they respect him. Mostly people like him just because he silents the Cena Whiners. If Orton is a face, people would complain about him .

He's not overrated whatsoever. Overpushed? Yea, they force CM Punk a bit. Punk is mainevent material though. I'd easily have him as a top draw if I were booking this.

If you look at history Some of the greatest talent WWE has ever had has won they're first World title within three years of their WWE careers. CM Punk won his first World title little over 2 years in the WWE. Altogether he had about 9 years in his entire career before he won the World title.

Orton is overrated and the most overpushed heel in wwe
He's in several segments EVERY Monday RAW and generally gets the main event (either a match or an in-ring segment, or a skit). The WWE replays this stuff on Tuesday's ECW and yet again on Friday's Smackdown. Every week. Talk about over-exposure and overkill...
The WWE is going to shovel so much Randy Orton down our throats that we become sick of him. Its like the WWE didn't learn about anything about to much exposure from their works with Cena
Agreed. He gets to much air time.. But when CM Punk beat Edge, they replayed that daily for weeks!
But anyways.. Edge is the most over-pushed Heel in my opinion.

I have never been an Edge fan, even when he was a face with a mysterious past. Edge is a good wrestler, but the main reason he is overrated is because people on the Internet (and even some "smarks" at arenas) cheer for him only because he's not John Cena or Batista. His wrestling is not that great, either:
As a character now, his cheating tactics are helping to ruin his character. It seems like his character has to cheat in every single match, even non-title matches. I seriously don't see why he can't use intelligence to beat mid-carders and people like CM Punk. Even at WrestleMania, OF ALL EVENTS, Edge is cheating. Seriously, how are people supposed to take him seriously as a champion? He does need heat, but cheating is not the only way to get a heel over.
