Well getting off topic of ECW. None of those three have any talent what so ever.
Cena and Lashley are both talented wrestlers. I'm not very impressed with Batista though. His best matches were against the Undertaker.

Hello everybody I just want to say that the old ecw always sucked, I am getting sick and tired of you people nag like housewives on how ecw is dead, the only thing is dead is you people, new ecw is the best brand and always be better than the old ecw and you people too stupid to notice it. I guess your old ECWnes is kicking it. Lets face it guys old ecw was placed in high school gym where the dirt poor people like you guys couldnt afford to pay for the ticket and I also watched the old ecw for 10 minutes, damn that was a waste of 10 minutes of my life. old ecw has never been successful and thank god they went out of bussiness and on top of that wcw went out of bussiness too and life couldnt get much better. You people need to move on because ecw is much better now under wwe and it has more audience than before and has got better wrestlers than before. Wrestlers like finlay, hornswaggle and ricky ortiz are far better wrestlers than the ecw originals like sabu and sandman and even RVD that useless garbage wrestler thank go he left wwe and we only have that fatty dreamer always wines and cries about how ecw is his dream, well he is nothing but a dreamer and he always loses matches.
For my end of remarks is to get a life and stop saying old ecw is the best because old ecw was nothing but a cheap show and also a boring show with full of untalented wrestlers.
Man are you going to get pick on. Can't say I disagree with you. In fact you are a 100% right. Heck most of the IWC fans are old ECW fans that thinks the old ECW was the greatess. They seem to be drinking that same kooaid that Paul Heyman was drinking. That is a coment from Eric Bischoff once made. Most of those ECW fans are now TNA fans still trying to live the glory day. Thats why you hear the TNA chant at the TNA events sometimes.
The old ECW lead to many shorten careers. Half of those wrestlers that wrestler in the old ECW are retire because they can't put down the pot. An then took way to many bumps. You watch these new young ECW wrestlers are going to have much longer careers.
In closing you and I most likely will get jump on for telling the truth on how bad really the old ECW really was. But sometimes its better to here the truth. That the new ECW is better than the old. An the old ECW was nothing but a stunt backyard wrestling show.
Just out of curiosity, could you give me a few names of wrestlers that their careers have been halved? I just can't think of any.
1. New Jack
2. Sandman
3. Mick Foley
4. Raven
5. Public Enemy
6. Most ECW old roster are now all not wrestling
OK lets see.
New Jack still wrestles in the indies, so we can't say his career has been halved.
Mick Foley is in TNA and wrestles occasionally. Most of his bumps were from Japan (deathmatches) and WWE (Hell in a Cell)
Sandman still wrestles, and so does Raven.
I think one of the Public enemy is dead but I doubt that was soley due to ECW.
But we can't truly tell if their careers are being halved because we can't judge how long their careers would have been if they were in WWE the whole time.
ECW wouldn't HALF their careers but I'm sure it would shorten it very very slightly.

RVD isn't in WWE because hes doing other things, not because he sucks. Your saying that if someone isn't in WWE they suck. Obviously you know nothing of Japan, the Japanese wrestlers have better matches than most of WWE's matches (nowadays at least).

I always figured that the fans overrate the old ECW. If it was such a cornerstone in the industry, why did it close down after 8 years?? It didnt have the corporate structure to deal with the wrestling industry
If people want to disagree and say it was the best promotion in history, just remember it doesnt exist today for a reason

The old ECW was great, it had the best wrestling out of any promotion and the atmosphere from its fans will never, NEVER be replicated in any wrestling promotion ever again. So it didn't have great production values, so they didn't have 30,000 people at every event, but the fans would come and see it religiously and the roster felt like family. The WWE on the other hand has made a mockery of the ECW legacy by making it PG and putting ''wrestlers'' like Hornswoggle on the programme, they're only on there to make pre-puberty morons like you happy.
Don't get me wrong, its not like the ECW brand now is bad. But the fact that they brought it back and then dumped over its legacy in the space of a few weeks is nothing short diabolical. If you think guys like Ricky Oritiz are better then Sabu, then you are not a wrestling fan. Sabu revolutionized hardcore wrestling, so did Sandman. What has Ortiz done, NOTHING. No wonder he's never on ECW anymore, because nobody gives a damn about him.
You want ROH and TNA to go out of business? Just think of the hundreads of people who have worked day and night to make those promotions, to put on the best matches they can and make those companies grow. And suddenly you want them all be jobless, in a time of economic recession? The WWE needs competition to get better and grow themselves, which is why the Attitude Era came about because of WCW moving to Monday Nights and meeting head on with Raw.
People like you make me ashamed to be a wrestling fan.
