Honestly why was Dixie Carter's browbeating of the TNA roster on tv?

For those if you who didn't see it

It sounded more like a school principle talking down to  a bunch of kids instead of a General rallying her troops around TNA.

It pretty much confirms that all the rumors of talent being upset with the company and speaking out were true.

Now Dixie is basically telling the people who make money for her that  if they are upset with the way things are they shouldn't speak out or they will be fired.  Putting a muzzle on descent.

And honestly if she really felt the need to talk to her roster like this why put it on tv?

Shouldn't this have been done behind closed doors!?

This seems like the company is in trouble, why would they make this public? If the WWE is watching this looks as if there is a crack in the TNA foundation. The problems that TNA has with drawing crowds out side of south is the companies fault not any of TNAs talent. This video is utter stupidity and to call out talent like that is ****.

That should not have ever been recorded, let alone made air.  There's rallying the troops, and then there's blatant unprofessionalism.  What she had to say to the TNA roster should be between her and the roster.  My personal opinion of Dixie, pardon the pun, went straight south.  It's just more proof that she has no earthly idea how to run a promotion.  Jarrett has got to be smacking himself right now.

If she wanted Joe to lose some weight and go the way he is able to, she could have said it to him in another way Crazy

No, seriously, I too don't think that move was wise. It did not sound like "Yeah, let's up our game and try to compete with WWE", it sounded more like "Hey, we're going down that road and you all need to improve, so we can do it. If you don't want to or can't or don't see success -> there is the door". Way to motivate people...
Face it people, WWE is not the only thing out there.
Promotions I also/preferably watch (some of them a lot, some of them a bit):
TNA, ROH, PWG, Chikara, DGUSA, CZW, SHIMMER, NWA/WCW, wXw, NJPW, AJPW, BJPW, Dragon Gate, Pro Wrestling NOAH

I agree, I actually felt slightly uncomfortable watching it to be honest. It was really poorly handled/written.

What Dixie was thinking: A rousing, rallying uplifting speech telling everyone it's their time to shine and get to the top.

What Dixie came out with: A telling off that the guys were doing good but not enough to be at the next level, and if they're not happy with anything, rather than discuss it (which ironically is the way a 'family' would function) you can just leave the company.

Rather than making her talent feel like they were ready, she just kinda broke them down and basically said they weren't ready yet and needed to do more.
Tejon Fantasma can say his opponent's name 3x more that Sting can in a promo

Dixie Carter made a bold yet selfish move on her part to pretty much diss every star on their roster in a no chalant kinda of way in my opinion the moves she is making are going to damage the company and alienate the talent that she does have to find greener pastures elsewhere like up north instead of down south and did you see Russo in the back sittin on his no talent A$$ what a joke Dixie Carter is not a promoter she wouldn't know passion for this buisness if it was staring her in the face

I think she just wanted us to think they actually have meetings like this.
