BFG V had some Highlights (FMM 4 Way, Ultimate X) and is a show that I'd watch again for these matches. Unfortunately, there were some terrible lowlights and the big atmosphere was totally missing after the beginning. Overall, especially considering it is supposed to be TNA biggest show, it did not convince me.
Bragging Rights on the other hand is a filler PPV. Sure Miz/JoMo was a bit disappointing, but not bad. Even the divas were acceptable (!). 7 on 7 was a clustferuck but overall okay. The WH Title Match was good, even if it was rather short. And the Iron Man was a worthy main event, that IMO is no instant classic, but definately a strong match.
So overall Bragging Rights was a good to very good PPV (7,5), while BFG was mediocre (5 to 5,5) and disappointing for a biggest how of the year (thus 4,5).
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way. I enjoyed the PPV but I didn't really get to see the Divas match and Miz/Morrison but I enjoyed the Fatal 4 Way Match and most especially the Iron Man Match. Team Raw vs Team Smackdown! was very predictable and I didn't pay attention to it for the most part.
I still haven't seen BFG but from what I've been hearing, the PPV was weak.
Step up cause you're the next one in the line for the kill. You don't believe it but I'm betting that you will. Stand up! I'll let you live with the pain that I bring. You know it's only the beginning.

I liked both PPV's but i'll say Bound For Glory.

Please don't compare one of WWE's newly named c--r--a-a-p gimmick PPVs with such a PPV like TNA's top PPV, Bound For Glory. Hate how people come on here and try to undermine TNA...oops forgot this is a WWE website. But anyway, BFG definitely for me. I was up and alive on Oct. 18, 2009 for what was quite an exciting night with few slip ups but some good action. Oct. 25, 2009, my eye lits were fluttering.

Not weak per se, but it was rather disappointing considering it was the biggest show of the year. Besides that, too many matches had weak endings. If Styles/Sting, Joe/Lashley and Kurt/Morgan had better endings, this PPV would easily be good. But all of them ended on a down note with their sudden and unspectacular endings (for Joe/Lashley add dumb booking). Seriously, if Angle/Morgan had ended in a draw or with an impact move by Kurt in the last second, it would have fit better. What Sting/Styles could have been with a thrilling closing sequence... well I don't want to go there, cause it gets me mad at TNA. And Joe/Lashley. Booking a legit MMA finish into a wrestling match is dumb, especially if nobody really gets that Joe seemed to have quit. There should have been some more drama too, cause it could have been way better.
Face it people, WWE is not the only thing out there. Promotions I also/preferably watch (some of them a lot, some of them a bit): TNA, ROH, PWG, Chikara, DGUSA, CZW, SHIMMER, NWA/WCW, wXw, NJPW, AJPW, BJPW, Dragon Gate, Pro Wrestling NOAH

BFG 5 was far better, no Comparison. Victory Road was better arguably than Boring Rights. Dont listen to these Brand-E Marks cause their hate for TNA Clouds their judgement.. 10 votes Including myself say BFG was better. So the marks fail... If watch the PPV youll see it has everything.. The 5 on 5 was to short with too much going on with a predictacle swerve ending of a Big.Show punch. If someone thinks thats a good ending. Well they are not a wrestling fan and they are just biastly marking for WWE. On a lighter: I heard weeks before that Batista was going heel and that's the only good thing I can say about this PPV.. I like the Miz cause I used to watch him on MTV and if he won cause of his superior Mic Skills.Thats fine with me. Arguably the best MOTN. Obviosly putting Christian in a Dark match was a mistake.. The Ironman match was dissapointing to say the least and sadly over-done.. At least one technical wrestler should be in every IM match: See Joe vs Angle and HBK vs Bret... To be fair. WWE does PPV's ever 3 weeks, so its not their fault if their PPV's are rushed. Meltzer of the Observer, Ea sports, PWI and other critics actually gave Bound For Glory V 7.8/10 and Morgan vs Angle 4 stars...Bragging Rights was 4/10 in my opinion or less..
