I love the marks on here who say stupid **** and then run away. Quoting a wrestlers line in your post is REALLY CUTTING EDGE!
People need to switch out of the 'us vs. them' mentality when it comes to wrestling. I have noticed that most people who are still talking like that are people who missed the Monday Night Wars. It would be like someone walking into an ice cream shop to get vanilla ice cream, but then the guy behind the counter tells the person there are 31 other flavors to choose from. Instead of just getting the vanilla ice cream that person came to get, they go on a rant about how Cookie Dough shouldn't be on the menu and insult people who order chocolate mint and then jump on the table of the people eating strawberry ice cream and kick their bowls to the floor. What is the point? If you like WWE, that's fine. Watch it and enjoy it. But there are more promotions in the world then just WWE and because of that, wrestling has survived throughout the world. TNA is trying to find its niche and has been TERRIBLY booked for the past 2 years solid, but that doesn't mean they should close up. You stick to your vanilla ice cream and I will enjoy my Moose Tracks ice cream over here... Remember everyone this isn't 1998 anymore. The business has changed. Any promotion going out of business ISN'T a good thing as that limits options. If TNA and ROH,PWG,FIP go under, I would have no reason to watch North American wrestling.
Saying pro wrestling and MMA and boxing are all the same is a bit like saying ducks, swans and geese are all the same. Sure, they share some common DNA, but they're still clearly different.

Earth to brainy guy (Cena Rules). The mere existence of TNA will help improve your vaunted WWE product...I mean, its not rocket science, but...COMPETITION HELPS BUILD A BETTER PRODUCT!!!!
And btw...Cena is overrated....just like 90 percent of the WWE's champions since 2005. |
