I don't know what to think, maybe WWE just wants to build up the number of Championships they both have and i hate short reigns, i prefer longer reigns. Hope Orton wins but i just can't see Cena leaving RAW.

While I'm also getting a little bored with the Cena/Orton fued, I think I'm a little more fed up with Cena haters.

I hope I don't get banned or the like from posting this. I've got to find an answer, though. Not just any answer, either. I need a mature, valid answer to my question. What's that question, you ask? Why does John Cena continue to be disrespected? That's my question. I'm not looking for an immature response such as, "cena can't wressle lolz," or a neanderthalian answer along the lines of, "seena's a poser heh." I want a credible, valid reason why people will cheer for Randy Orton, a man that the WWE has painstakingly made the most diabolical and sinister heel ever in the history of the WWE, when he and Cena are in the ring together.

Is it because he doesn't have a varied skill set in the ring? John has punches, kicks, tackles, holds, and body slams just like every other wrestler. He also has the STF, Attitude Adjustment, Throwback, Five Knuckle Shuffle, and the top rope leg drop. Seems like he has a standard repertoire to me. Granted, the finisher could be better, but Rikishi would smack people in the face with his butt cheeks to finish them off. And don't get me started on that joke of a finisher, The People's Elbow. John's style in the ring is very smashmouth and in-your-face. He knows what he's got, and sticks to it. If you're gonna bash him for his lack of moves in the ring, then you need to look around at wrestlers like The Rock, and Batista, and Kane, and Big Show. These guys are veterans who have garnered respect in the ring for doing the same few moves over and over again throughout the years. Why is John so different?

Is it because John has the uncanny ability to absorb incredible amounts of punishment and pop back up like nothing ever happened? Well, I could see how that is valid. Maybe, if popular superstars like Undertaker, Kane, HBK, The Rock, Triple H, and Hulk Hogan never did the exact same thing. Let's face it, the "kip-up" is pretty standard among WWE superstars as of late. It's used to show a rush of adrenaline, a second wind. For a man like John Cena, it should be expected, respected, and feared. Not booed, hissed at, and hated. So, HBK and flip back up to a vertical base for a comeback, and the Undetaker can sit up like the dead come back to life for the win. Why is John so different?

Maybe it's because John has changed his image a little too often for the tastes of the WWE Universe? He debuted against Kurt Angle dressed in red half tights and high boots. Now, he wears a ball cap, sweat bands, Mark Ecko shorts, and sneakers. He altered himself for The Marine, for the Chain Gang Battalion, and for the Cenation. Is that so bad when you think of how many changes that Steve Austin went through in his career? What about Triple H going from blueblood aristocrat to ripped ass-kicker? The many evolutions of Chris Jericho from the Lion Heart to Y2J and beyond? With image change a constant thing in WWE, I'm baffled. Why is John so different?

I've followed John's career very closely. I've watched him evolve from "ruthless aggression" to "Hustle. Loyalty. Respect." He's been a part of some of the greatest matches I've ever seen, and his love for the fans is unquestionable. Then there's his outstanding contributions to the Make a Wish Foundation. He's an all around good guy, inside the ring and out. He's as good, if not better, on the mic than The Rock was. He's as crafty and powerful in the ring as Hogan and Austin were. He's the best mix of all of our favorite WWE superstars of the past, and continues to bleed into the future of the WWE for fans who would just as soon spit on him. He's the hardest working man in the business, and has stayed loyal to the WWE despite having an acting career on the side *cough*Rock*cough*. Why is John so different?

I'm not bashing or belittling any other wrestler that I've mentioned here. They are all great, and have gained the respect of the WWE Universe by doing exactly what John Cena has done. I needed points of reference to validate my claims, nothing more. You've got all of my admiration and respect, John. Until someone can intelligently prove otherwise, I live my life by the words hustle, loyalty, and respect. Don't let the haters bring you down. Kick ass, take names, and keep tossing out the funny commentary when they give you mic time. Cenation 4-life.

i agree with you

i agrees.
The Cena bashers are about as boring as the neverending Cena/Orton Feud.
But then again - a lot of WWE fans are kids, offcourse they come up with the usual "U Suck" commentsWhoops and they are in their good rights to do so, eventhough an old man like my self (34) finds it boring, but i choose to ignore it :)
and just to make things clear; if I HAVE to choose between either Orton or Cena, i vote for Cena..that´s where the money is, so they will keep him on the show for as long as he´s earning money

Ok I'm gonna say it one more time Raw will be a much better place without John Cena, the guy is a mid-card superstar he sells his stupid t-shirts and other lame merchandise has his stupid catch phrases, and just acts like a complete idiot. Forget about the guys complete lack of wrestling ability for a second, he is so predictable inside the ring his matches are a complete snooze fest with anyone other than Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Triple H or Randy Orton and thats only because those very talented athletes make John Cena look good they are great ring generals. John Cena is a clown only little 5 through 13 year old kids can be entertained by him and thats only because they don't know any better. Back to the main issue this 60 min Iron Man Match at Bragging Rights will never work Orton even as talented as he is can not make Cena look good for a whole hour it's not possible, Cena is just too uncoordinated and predictable. Why do you think they added in the fact that there will be no DQs and no countouts cause they need to some how keep the fans interested in the match, cause everyone knows in a pure wrestling match Randy Orton would school John Cena and the score would be 20 to 0 in the first 15 mins of the match and people would then start falling asleep. That is just the way it is

Cena will win, sadly. It will be a boring match. 60 mins? Way too long, by the way. If Cena goes to SD, He will ruin everything there.

I look for Cena to win this one.  Why?  Raw without Cena = crappy ratings and nobody in the seats.  Duhhhhhhh.  If Orton brings out help, who's to say Cena won't bring out help?  Gonna be a fun match to watch but I won't be ordering it.

i'm sure Randy will win, and Cena will so to Smackdown, yea it sucks but lately Smackdown has been more interesting that RAW, so it's better for Cena anyway.
