Can't give it stars since it wasn't a match, but a squash. It's going to be nice seeing Kane as ECW champion. He fits well with the SciFi channel theme. I would not be surprised if his first challenger was Big Daddy V.

Gary, that's a great idea. However, Mark Henry was inches away from winning the Battle Royal. He would have totally beat Chavo. This match was a shocker...not that Chavo lost, just the amount of time it took for Kane to win. I like short and sweet, and so looking at the match from that perspective, I enjoyed it. I am not pleased with Kane as champion, and don't know what to expect from him given his limited performance against Chavo last night. I will not give up hope on Mark Henry winning the gold sooner or later... |

I think it was exactly what needed to happen with Chavo as champion. Chavo is so overrated as a character and I'm glad they let Kane disrespect him like this. He's boring and one-dimensional. Kane deserves to be on his way up again - good move. |

I liked how Kane snuck up on Chavo to get the victory. That was cool. The entire arena was drenched in red. I'm going to love seeing Kane as the champion on ECW. He had a demonic smile while holding the coveted ECW belt. That was cool. |

Kane on ECW as champion will be absolutely great. I like how he squashed Chavo like the pancake he is and just took the belt for himself. Things are about to get hotter on ECW. I'm glad Kane has the chance to wear a world singles title again. I bellieve the last time he had the belt he only wore it for one day. Hopefully Kane will make it as champ past Tuesday. |

I might actually start watching ECW now that Kane is going to have a championship run. He deserves the little bit of recognition for what he has accomplished in the past. He buttoned up Chavo's mouth with the quickness at mania, chokeslamming it shut as he walked away as the champ. It is great to see that the two "brothers" (Taker & Kane) have championship gold...maybe that is not a coincidence! |

I wonder if since Kane is ECW champion and Undertaker is Smackdown champion...and they're brothers...Undertaker will show up on ECW. Now that would be rad. And historic. |

It wouldn't be that historic ha. Now if Paul Bearer won the WWE title from Orton, and they all got together again for a dinner with all their championships on the family mantle. That would be big. |
