This match **

Aside from the fact that it's a headscrather why this was even on the card, it was a real borefest.  Batista  barely did anything and had Umaga carry him throughout the show.  The most interesting aspect of  this contest was a unique chant from the crowd for the Samoan Bulldozer: Ooh Ooh Oohmaga!

And the finsiher was essentially a botched spot.  What a waste.  I give it one extra star simply because it was part of Wrestlemania.

Gary had it totally right, I'm sorry.  I looked like Batista was mad that he didn't really have a purpose even being at Wrestlemania, and he was fudging his way through the match - he didn't even move his arm correctly during his entrance's delayed pyro burst (after the machine gun).  Umaga destroyed him as far as in-ring charisma and making the match.  Batista is sooooo boring I'll say it over and over again... "Hi, I'm really strong and I have a big back tatoo.  Can I get hired?"  Batista had no place being at that event, but I'm glad it happened so that everyone can see he is horrible.  Like Gary said, the crowd even invented a new chant for Umaga because 1. they were bored with the match, and 2. they knew it was Batista's fault.

I don't know why you like when Batista shakes the ropes.  Not sure what it is about wrestlers who shake the ropes (Ultimate Warrior, Batista), but it seems as though they are fan favorites that secretly suck as performers and count on other wrestlers to make them look good.

This match was total garbage.  Dude, like they played this match  on Wrestlemania, but the battle royal was on the web site.  It should have been the opposite.  What were  they thinking?

When Batista tried to powerbomb Umage, he fell backwards.  That must have been embaressing.

Umaga would've been perfect as the lone big man in on the Money in the Bank match.  He can do big-guy oves as well as athletic ones as well.  He also takes crazy bumps when he needs to.
