I might as well live up to my hub name

Thursday, July 17, 2008, 07:10 PM EST [General]

Well I think I am going to start living up to my HUB name the fictatious girl and start posting some stories. Funny stories mainly and No, none of them are true, it's just out of my twisted imagination. So whose up for a story? :D

    Wrestlers and fans...

You know there's a strange relationship between the two, there are fans who enjoy the wrestlers when they appear and are pleased if they happen to luck out on getting an autographs when there wasn't an autograph session to be had... or there are those who exspect if they have waited in line for hours... they are entitled to one. I've seen both.

On a hot summer's day roughtly just over a year ago, I was in Toronto with my older brother, I was hoping to get some signatures for a contest at my workplace. I have passionate WWE fans at my movie theatre (yes we show the PPVs on the big screen!) and I wanted to make something special. Armed with a WWE Wrestlemaina DVD I went out and waited in a line up in hopes of getting a signature or two.

I wasn't alone in this line up. For nearly seven hours I stood... yeah... I'm that dedicated... I guess we can call it dedication! Anywho, as I waited, there was a woman beside me who was very impaciant. She looked to her watched and was awaiting to get some autographs muttering something about they better be signing, she had three boys with her and waited in the line. However as each wrestler passed, she couldn't seem to get a signature. Yet the moment Edge walked by, he didn't even look at the crowd and went right on into the building that was hosting a press conferance.

She yells to the top of her lungs. "OH YOU THINK YOU'RE GOD'S GIFT DON'T YOU!" Shocking the likes of me, and a kid beside me! This woman took hold of her children and left in a huff, I was about to tell her to wait, but my older brother was against it.

As the press conferance ended, some of the wrestlers spent time signing as many autographs as they could. I happened to have snagged Shane McMahon and Torrie Wilsons, yet Ric Flair aluded me... it wasn't his fault, he was told to keep moving and yet managed to duck out of the security escort to sign a few items along the way.

Then came Edge... the self adsorbed, jerk... right?

Many people were wondering why it was taking him so long to come down the 'red carpet' they happened to rolled out for the event. Edge went AROUND the baracade, armed with a sharpie and signed like there was no tomorrow! I got Edge's signature, he spent twenty minutes at least giving autographs to those who waited for one!

Let this be a lesson to everyone. Never make assumptions about someone. I'm sure if that lady stayed her kids would have gotten an autograph... but. I guess one will never know.

tune in next time fokes when I explain why you should NEVER try and make your own wristband for an autograph session, no matter how desperate you are!

    Welcome!

Monday, April 21, 2008, 08:26 PM EST [General]

Ok... a blog.... blog... uh.... hi... welcome to my page if you bothered to look, not saying you have to but thanks for looking.

I'm the fictatious girl... why? I write a lot... when I mean a lot I mean it! I got nearly 65 stories up on fanfiction.net! Yeah, oh that's not including the NON- WWE stories I have in the works too! Yes I do write about other things than wrestlers. Mainly vampires... I am a vampire sort of girl... and dragons... LOTS of dragons... I never understand why those creatures always have to be the "bad guys" *shrugs* it seems so one sided if you asked me... oh... rambling, sorry.

Well I'm also a fan for the fans. I run contests at my workplace where if I can get more than one autograph I usually give the other away as a prize to fans who can't get to autograph sessions or cannot afford to go to a live show. Recently I gave way an autograph Chris Jericho book, I raised some money for sick kids hospital while I did that... Good time, good times.

Last time I did a contest like that, I raised, food, clothing and money for the local woman's shelter!

Oh you will have to prardon my spelling and grammar, I am not really... good in that area. So if you don't mind, super!

Well that's all about me for now... I think... at least, so yeah, see you on the forms!
