Well, by now, it should be no surprise to WWE fans that Randy Orton is no longer the WWE Champion. Yes, as many of you know, I am thoroughly upset, and still in mourning, by this loss, and I can only hope that a new beginning is in store for the Legend Killer. I enjoyed watching Randy at the peak of his career on Raw, but much like in real life, once you've reached the top, the only way to go is back down. In my eyes, Randy is taking baby steps back to the bottom, and once he reaches an unusual low, he will gracefully trek to that high place once again.
After invoking his rematch clause on Raw last night (4/28/08), we the fans are left at a cliffhanger of the unknown: WHO WON? It's probably safe to assume that Triple H succeed the arrogant Orton, but that cannot be said with utmost certainty. Randy, for the most part, outperformed the Game for a solid portion of the match, but the Champ would not give up, even after suffering an RKO among other manuevers. Randy is definitely a force to be reckoned with, and will endure whatever it takes to retain the gold.
Triple H anticipated a celebratory opening to Raw last night (4/28/08) until his parade was rained on by the angry and vengeful Randy Orton. Yes, Randy was decked in the head with a microphone by Triple H, but all that did was just anger him further. Randy fans alike should have been impacted by his statement The Age of Orton is not over...it's just beginning in response to Triple H's disrespectful denouncement of the Age. As long as Randy stays on top of his game and takes out the wrestling roster consecutively, the Age of Orton will not end. Randy doesn't seem materialistic gold around his waist to prove his natural abilities in the ring. His character and talents will speak for themselves because there are several worthy contenders that Randy could compete with just to prove himself as excellent.
Realistically speaking, Randy is not going to achieve championship status immediately; yes, he can attempt, but other wrestlers also yearn to be named number one contenders. In all fairness, if Randy outperforms and beats opponents worthy of contention, then by all means paint him into the title picture. I could watch Randy for all 5 weekly hours of scheduled WWE programs and not get tired of him, but I'm sure the general WWE fan population would beg to differ with me; it may get boring to others. Plus, I wouldn't want Randy to strain his beautiful self after enduring some tenuous, continuous physical strains from his colleagues. Anyway, the point I am trying to make is how many times do the majority of WWE fans want to see Orton/H for the WWE Championship? (Me=every title match until Randy wins!!!)
I hope that it is clear to all WWE fans that the Age of Orton is not even close to being over...it is merely the beginning, the fresh start of something wonderful. The rage and fury pent up inside of the soul of the Legend Killer will be translated into physical power presented to each of his opponents. Randy is young and a savvy performer; he is essentially the future of this business...he is just getting started! Give him the Big Show or Batista or HBKor JBL or Cena or HHH...whomever, because it doens't matter. Randy is ready, willing, and able to dominate the WWE one Superstar at a time. Many despise him because of his arrogance, other adore him for his talent, but I feel that in the near future, fans alike will all learn to respect him for his passion. The Age of Orton is here to stay whether you like it or not!

Randy Orton got exactly what he deserves and he rates a big fat ZERO in my book. Not only is he ugly on the inside but he ain't all that on the outside either. He is arrogant and to full of himself to see anything beyond his own self. I am glad he lost and I hope he continues to lose.
