Hey again everyone! Can you believe that there have been 800 episodes of RAW!!!? That's just amazing! I am proud to say that I have seen most of those 800...I've been a huge fan my whole life but I have to admit that I took a 4 year break from watching wrestling when I was in high school. Now, though...I've jumped back in and been obsessed again for 4 years now! I can't see myself taking any more breaks from it. haha I love it and I guess you all do too since you are members of the WWE Universe! Well, let's get to it, shall we?
The show starts off with Randy Orton coming down to get an answer out of Shane and Stephanie McMahon on whether or not they have decided to fire Mike Adamle. Since they had not arrived yet, Orton decides to sit ringside until they do. First match of the night featured, in my opinion, the greatest tag team to ever set foot in a ring...the HARDYS in a match against MVP and THE Brian Kendrick. This was a pretty good match to start off the Historical 800th episode but then again...any match with the Hardys teaming up is destined to be awesome! :) Hardy hit MVP with the Swanton and Matt got the win!
Next up was the 8-man Battle Royal for the No. 1 Contender spot for the Intercontinental Championship. To start off, I thought the only people that would've won this match were either William Regal or Ted DiBiase. I was surprised to see Ted eliminate his own allies, Cody Rhodes and Manu but this is every man for himself. William Regal ended up winning after being pulled under the ropes earlier in the match by Jamie Noble only to jump back in after Ted was the only one left. Regal wins this one and is named No. 1 Contender for Santino Marella's IC Championship. Pretty good match.
In the next segment, we get quite a surprise..well, it was a surprise to me anyway...as Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring to tell Orton his decision, Mike Adamle interrupts and announces that although he tried to stay neutral as General Manager, he was unable to do so. The surprise was that Adamle stepped down as the General Manager of RAW!!! I actually liked Mike Adamle as General Manager. Now my question is...who will the new GM be? I really hope it won't be JBL! Anyway...Shane then says to Orton that he talked to his doctors and found out that Randy had been cleared to wrestle for weeks but neglected to tell anyone. So Shane puts him in a match later in the night with CM Punk. I was really looking forward to this...
Seriously...how does Charlie Haas do it? He is hilarious! This week, he isn't Charlie Haas...he was Bret "The Hitman" Haas! He's great! He had Hart's mannerisms down and everything! It was simply great, even if he ended up getting pummeled by Vladimir Koslov.
I know earlier I said that the Hardys were the best tag team to set foot in a ring but I actually think they are in a very close tie with the one and only D-Generation X!!! Triple H and HBK did a HILARIOUS bit talking about Miz and Morrison and how they had made fun of them...like Triple H's large nose...and HBK's chaps...and according to Triple H, Shawn's hair loss..."WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!" HAHAHAHAHA! I mean, seriously...DX is the best thing that ever came from the WWE!!! No matter how many times they step in the ring, they always crack me up and give a heck of a match!!!
Now, here comes the downfall of the night for me. I was all excited to see how they were going to pull off a 16 Diva Tag Team match. First in comes Beth with her crew follwed by Mickie James and her crew. The ref looks around counting and says that the teams are uneven. I thought...COOL..who are they gonna bring in? Maybe they are gonna "surprise" everyone with another Bella. But no....it's Mae Young. Don't get me wrong people...I respect and love Mae Young and I know exactly what she has brought to the world of women's wrestling but this was just ridiculous. She alone was able to take out most of the Heel Divas Team. I don't think so. I was hoping to see some real competition here but the only actual Divas that wrestled were Beth and Kelly. What was the point in even bringing out the others? I mean, let them wrestle for crying out loud! And this "match" only lasted like 3 minutes at the most! For goodness sake, there were 16 Divas in there...it should've lasted longer! Sometimes, I think I would be ashamed to be a WWE Diva. You know what I think? I think the WWE should give the Divas their own show. Like a small spot like ECW. You know, where they can still appear on RAW and Smackdown but have their own separate show. They should have the Women's Title be like the "Heavyweight" Title and the Divas Title be equivalent to the Intercontinental/United States Championship and they could also have tag team titles. I know these Divas have talent! We all know it! I just wish the WWE people would realize it and let them show it! I was watching (again) the Hardcore match between Victoria and Trish Stratus for the Women's Title at Survivor Series 2002 and I also watched a cage match between Lita and Victoria and I just wish so hard that they would let the Divas to stuff like that now!!! Well, enough complaining about this...
The rest of the matches were pretty good and I thought it was a great show but the thing that made me really excited was the Cage Match with Batista and Chris Jericho. The match was quite good and even more excited I was at seeing the match, I was more excited to see Jericho become the new World Heavyweight Champion! I think he makes a more exciting champion than Batista. YAY!
Well, I'm off to watch ECW! Hope you all loved the blog...I really want to know what all of you think about my Divas Show idea. hehe It may not be a good idea...it was just a thought I had. I'm also sure that a lot of you have thought of this:) Anyway...later!!!

I loved Raw last night! It was great to see the Hardys once again, it's amazing how far they've come in their careers from when they started out up to now...Is it just me or is that how Regal wins every Battle Royal match. He's done it before, that much I remember. Either way, I think we'll be seeing a title change next week...The new GM thing is going to be quick process I think since it took so long for a new one to be named last time...Charlie Haas has been so entertaining during the last little while, I just wish they'd actually give him a push. He obviously has personality and he has great in ring skills, why not?...The 3 minute diva match, a weekly occurrence and it definitely shouldn't be. Most of those girls have a lot of talent and it just seems to be wasted. I like your divas show idea but, I don't think WWE would do it which is a shame because I'm sure they could draw ratings comparable to TNA which isn't bad and they would have more time to show that they can be great too. I think the problem is that WWE has so much male talent that they just don't seem to have enough time for female which isn't fair but, that's what looks to be happening. It'd be nice for the divas to have a Saturday night show or something...Jericho is 100x the champion that Batista is. I'm so happy he won....I loved the blog Fefe. I hope to talk to you after the 1600th episode has aired ;)
