    Hook, Line and Stinker

Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 08:15 AM EST [General]

So, I just read that the WWE released Lance Cade. I'm not happy about this and my comments will forever, or maybe on this blog only, be tainted with bitterness and anger. Whatever the reason or reasons for his release is or are, I personally don't care. Bad move.

I've never really been so disturbed over the departure of a wrestler before. I'm not quite sure why I am now. I guess it's because Cade impressed me at the eleventh hour and I saw many great things for him. Obviously, they didn't. Perhaps he was hurt? Perhaps nobody liked him? Perhaps he wanted too much money? I don't really care as I said before. I'm pissed!

Jericho should be paranoid. But I have to say this to Chris, "Stop you're wimpering and whining and pouting on the sidelines and get back into the game, man!!!!!!  What is with you lately?  You didn't get the belt by whining. You got it by fighting. Now hold onto it or you'll lose it!" Good grief! I predict Stone Cold will be wearing the stripes. In fact, I hope he does. He's great and I miss him around. Nobody can terrorize the WWE like he can. He'll look absolutley...well..."stun"ning!

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. The Mysterio/Hardy, Kane/Henry match was again, one of the best of the night.  It was like, part 2 ( a sequal, if you will) but..good.  Mark Henry's power is just awesome. Nobody can deny this. Kane and Rey remind me of Sylvester and Tweety.  I am a tweety fan. Sorry Kane. "I tought I taw a big wed monster!" This match was great! Again...

Observation 1: Them Hardy boys got guts!

What up with the towel JBL???? You take a limo out to the ring. You often times let everyone else do your dirty work and wrestle for you. So, what gives? Truth be told, JBL is exhausting to watch. But, we need him. As much as it pains me to say. More on this later...much later. I'm still reeling over Cade!

    Cena Returns!!!!!!!

I have every ounce of faith that Randy Orton will by champion again! It'll be a whole new WWE. I'm telling you. New World Orton. On a more personal note.  I'd love to know what makes Randy tick?  I'd love to know how his mind works. He utterly fascinates me.  If I scratched the surface, what would I find?  More surface? A deeper, more profound Randy, or would I find something else entirely? Hmmm..intriguing.

The Batsista/HBK Lumberjack match was great. I loved it!  You name a part, I loved it.

Question: Does anyone else think Santino looks like a little cabbage patch doll?

Favorite line of the night: "Peanut Butter and Johnny!!!"  lol... I'm still laughing. That was great. Thanks Morrison!

This week's focus favorite: Kurt Angle!

That's all. Nothing more. I've said my peace. I'm too upset to think about anything else. And yes..I'm being dramatic. We're all entitled to a little drama!!!!!

    Poo poo to you!

    Lance? Good luck.

I can take a lickin' and keep on tickin',

Seeing the World From a Different Angle

Wednesday, October 8, 2008, 01:29 PM EST [General]

I thought RAW was awesome Monday night!  I noticed Chris Jericho came to ring sporting this seasons bruises topped off with his ever glowing favorite accessory, the Heavyweight Championship belt.  Large and in charge but missing part of a tooth. (occupational hazard)

Batista, looking fine as usual and demanding a number.  He is totally unintimidated, unaffected and uninterested in the rigmarole of Jericho's yammering about how good he is. He unleashed a little something I like to call, the freek within, on Jericho.  Will Chris heed the animal's warning?  Probably not, cause neither one EEEE-VER wants to retreat. We'll see.

Beth and Santino vs Micki and Jamie with the Dark Prince and Princess lurking nearby.   Santino took the win.  But, I have to say, I found myself rooting for Noble.  William went ballistic..for what reason, I don't know. He's already got Layla. So, what's his problem? Again...I felt bad for the ref :(

DiBiase vs. Kingston.  CM Punk-a-licious backed his buddy.  It's only fair since the Million Dollar Mob travels everywhere together.  Why not throw some Punk into the mix?  It was no surprise to me that DiBiase won.  Although, with a little more focus, I thought Kofi could've taken the match...oops, did I say that?

Remember that game Red Rover? Yeh, I'd hate to play that game with the million dollar mob!  Yikes...

Miss you J.C. Can't wait for your return!!!!!

Mysterio was mighty, mighty and Matt Hardy was right there with him. This match was so good to watch.  Mark Henry (Whoa) and Kane? Talk about a heavy load. You can tell that Rey just dreads matches with Kane and wants this issue done already.  I can't blame him really. I know if Kane was a thorn in my side I'd want it taken out!! The two monsters did what they normally do, terrorize Tokyo, or the WWE and won the match but not without a struggle by the two most passionate fighters in the biz. I loved this match!

To Rey, a few words of advice: Little beat big when little smart. First with the head, then with the heart.

HBK does look a little worn.  However, one should never underestimate him. I was glad to see Lance Cade wrestling outside of Jericho's shadow though. He barely lifted his arms to throw HBK through the table and with such force. But scary Shawn showed that my theory about him was dead on.  He IS a shapeshifter and lookout world, cause what came out...wasn't even Shawn anymore.  It was something else entirely.  It looked almost personal. Perhaps Lance caught Shawn off guard and he didn't see it coming. But now he's got to pay. Although, I'm not quite convinced Shawn has it in him to survive a now hell bent, revengeful, adrenaline run Lance Cade. The something else that Shawn brought out Monday needs to stay out cause HBK won't be breaking anything but himself. I love Shawn. I always have.  But Lance has something to prove. That's some big motivation.  These two will go down in the history books if it plays out the way I hope it does!!!!!

I think Stone Cold should interview the Great Khali!!! lol...I need to ask Lilian if he's a good kisser. Maybe he does have a sense of humor afterall.

The Miz and Morrison/ Cryme Tyme commentating, or trying to was more interesting and entertaining than what was going on in the ring. I'm not sure if this was intentional. I think Kelly Kelly won?

Randy looked a little perturbed being used as a tool. Could this be a good sign? I hope so. I can't wait until he returns. I'm throwing a block party when it happens.

This week's Focus Favorite is: Lance Cade

Well, that's all for the RAW Relay. Chat later y'all.

    P.S.  What about Kurt Angle?????????

Miles to go before I sleep

Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 12:57 PM EST [General]

Monday night was electric!  Batista's energy is so grand that it enters the arena miles before he does!  I was laughing just as hard as he was when our favorite uni-browed, mozzarella ball came out with the brain barometer. Why would you provoke the animal on purpose??? He got what he deserved. Of course, JBL got a cheap shot in. Cheap shots say a thousand words.

Thought of the day: HBK should be champion. However, I firmly believe Jericho should be champion too. So, what do we do? Split it down the middle? Half and half? Or, how about neither?  Somebody else could be prepared, willing and able to turn. Stranger things have happened.

The MIZ had some inner aggression going on and took advantage of a great opportunity to get the win. Plus, bonus! I got to watch John Morrisson and Shad.

The Dark King & Queen were there in full effect to look on the Noble/James match. Micki James took advantage of that opportunity to get her hands on Katie. They both have that fire to be the best and neither wants to give up. It's exciting. Noble won the match. I guess the fire spread to him...good!

Bring in da noise, bring in da Punk...CM, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio, that is.  You can tell, Rey Mysterio is a good guy, inside and out. He keeps himself open and vulnerable and that's his strength.  Plus, I love how he interacts with kids. It's very alluring.  But in this match, there was more action in the first 30 seconds than the frist two days of the Olymic Games.  It was awesome!

Time Out: Where is Billy Gunn? TNA?  Why aren't I watching that? I think I will from now on...that's it. TIVO, baby!

Mike Adamle still looks adorable carrying his little clipboard. I was nervous Randy wouldn't show up but, alas, he was there in all his Ortoness! How dare JBL interrupt him btw. But that's to be expected from him. He still has an unbelievable way of getting what he wants. Does he have a manual on how to do that for us little people cause I'm the first in line to buy it.

The power of the Glamazon was just too much for Kelly Kelly I'm afraid.

The Great Charlie...priceless.  Khali has NO sense of humor, although it did look like he wanted crack up at one point.

Okay so...YEAH... DX ruled last night. But I have to say, the code breaker looks painful. ouch!  I love that move! Poor Lance, welcome to the big leagues. I wonder how long it'll be before he he turns on Jericho. You DO know it's inevitable, right?

Well, that's all folks, for now.  But I'll catch ya later on in the week.

Take care, Dance in the rain, and Smile to your enemy,

    Dashing the raindrops,

    Flawless

    OHHH...

Before I go, I have to mention a few things about HBK. It appears to me that I've been making little tributes in my blogs to different wrestlers.  This week is HBK.  Whenever I see HBK I can't help but remember a part in a poem by Robert Frost I had to memorize in 10th grade. The poem is called Stopping By Woods On a Snowy Evening. No matter how many times you knock him down he keeps coming back tougher and tougher. He's a shapeshifter in a way that, when a part of him shuts down, another part springs to life in the form of something else. He's on a mission. No one but him knows what the mission is. And he'll keep at it until he gets it right. His life is a road and although that road interlocks with forks, curves, shadows, light, ugliness and beauty, his heart just won't let him give up until he reaches that destination. So, to HBK...Thank you for inspiring, entertaining, pushing and just ...being.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

    This just in...

Monday, September 29, 2008, 08:46 AM EST [General]

Well all, better late than never.  It was awesome to see HHH and Jeff Hardy start off all the action Friday night against Kendrick and MVP. I would love to see an x-ray of Jeff Hardy's back!  It must look like a pretzel if it's as painful as he makes it look. Then again, how could it not be when you're throwing yourself off of the top rope and landing on mat! However, I think he's ready. He's got that fire and the itch to be the best.  A part of me thinks HHH doesn't know how to figure Jeff Hardy out.  I can't wait for these two to go head to head!

Flashback:  Who else thought Bobby Heenan was hilarious with Gorilla Monsoon? They don't make them like that anymore, huh?

Nothing against Maria or Bella because I love them but I think Randy Orton needs SmackDown the truth on Victoria and Natalya.  With all their expreience, history and power, why aren't they a force to be wreckoned with??????? I don't get it.

It's too bad the Kozlov and Khali match was interrupted. I would've liked to see the two giants demolish each other!

But the highlight of the evening was the Undertaker.  He never fails to deliver and lookout when he does!!!!!

Well, short but sweet and Raw is tonight!!!!!  Chat soon luvs,

    smooches

To Heel Or Not To Heel, that is the question!

Wednesday, September 24, 2008, 09:36 AM EST [General]

Alright. So I missed SmackDown again..what of it?  No, seriously. I'm a bad girl and missed the show, missed the blog, missed the mark.  Whatever, I'll do better.

Here's the Raw Review from my neck of the woods for Monday September 22, 2008. Now, keep in mind that these are strictly MY views nor do I purposely intend to offend anyone.

I was happy right from the beginning.  Two of my favorite superstars, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton, in the ring!  Woo-freakin' -Hoo, baby!!!!  Chris climbed the ladder to success while Randy sported some awesome tats and looked Fah-hab-u-lous!!! Now, it was tossed around  that the most valuable commodity is the WWE Heavyweight Champion.  While this may be so, the most valued..period, is the heavyweight championSHIP itself.  It really doesn't matter who holds the title, it's the actual title and what it represents that's most important. Any shmo can hold a title but who will be the one to defend it to the fullest and for the longest amount of time?  That's the valued commodity.  It's like the president.  It's the actual presidency and what it represents that needs to be protected.  The president himself or herself is just the one who protects and defends the system, a mere representative, if you will, of the government. Therefore it is imperative that we, as a country, elect the RIGHT person for the job!.  You know? Oy! Politics...

    Switching gears...

What's that I saw on CM Punk?  A new t-shirt?  2 fists, ready to fight.  Get your dukes up everyone cause he's comin' out a swingin'.  Bitter, party of one?

I didn't know just how much I missed Shane O'Mac's little crazy jig.  Awwww...

Getting back to CM though, he won his match, which wasn't that surprising to me.  However, what was surprising to me was how well Cody Rhodes did! Hmm...I knew he was good but I fear he's peaking a little too fast. Again, I know nothing about how these things work but I observe. I've been observing for many many moons now and this is what I've seen before.  I'm sure he wants to be another American Dream and not just "Dreaming".  I like Cody and I see great things for him. However, he needs a little discipline.  Randy????? Are you there????

Deuce is still there???? I didn't even know he was still with the WWE.  Anyway, it was good to see somebody different out there.  It always is from time to time but I doubt, Santino, that Batista will feel the least bit threatened by your recent win.

OKAY. Kane vs. Even Bourne.  I'm excited about Evan. I see good things ahead for him.  Remember the Tom and Jerry cartoon?  I believe it's still on.  But, that's who these two reminded me of Monday night. A cat chases a mouse.  Everyone knows this.  And a monster chases...well...anything it wants really.  But the point I'm trying to make is that, that's what made this match so exciting to me.  That fact that it was simple.  Kane did what he does, and Evan did what he does, yet the two couldn't be more different in size, and strength. Kane dominated but I predict that with a little time and a different strategy, Evan will be Air-Bourne again; attacking the city of Kane.

John Morrison: Yeah!!!!!! This was another great match for me. The Miz & Morrison against Cryme Time.  4 egos. Lego my ego men!   Somebody said to me recently John Morrison is a lover not a fighter and won't get any further.  First off, I strongly disliked your Joan Collins cattitude! MEOW girl! Chill. My reply was this...isn't a lover ALSO a fighter?  If you love something, would you not fight to keep it? Also, why would you fight for something you didn't love? J.M. is both! It's all about timing. I'm convinced.  He WILL acheive more.  He did get the pin, yes, but I sense a bit of restlessness in him. Or, perhaps that's just me wanting him to want to be more restless with himself and his career.  Will there be a crossroads for him in the future?  I don't know. It happens to the best of us.  Either way, John,  I'm here for you babe! You're awesome. Good job Monday night!

Side note: I CAN'T FREAKIN' WAIT TO SEE EAGLE EYE!!!!!

    Question: Why hasn't Shad gone solo yet???I'm waiting...tick tock...What a powerhouse!!!!!!!!

Speaking of powerhouses, it was refreshing, to me, anyway and feelings aside, to see Lance Cade wrestle!  Will someone in the WWE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep developing this potential steam engine???? Did anyone SEE what he did to HBK?  THAT impressed the kadoodle out of me, I tell ya. OUCH!! How's your back buddy??? But, it was also great to watch HBK again.  Yeah.

Observation 1: Never underestimate the significance of a cheap shot.

Observation 2: Muscles mean nothing without the speed and agility to go with it.

I know it may appear that I'm turning heel lover but I'm not. I'm just finding the heels more interesting lately than the non-heels. That's all.

I'm so glad Randy is finally getting applause when he enters.  He can't wrestle yet but wait until he gets cleared.  He's not just talk, he's the real deal.  Although he yammers on an on and kind of hides behind the whole thrid generation superstar bull, he doesn't have to. Perhaps it's a safety net, an inner motto or mantra he must repeat to get the mind frame, I dont' know.  But he's proven countless times that he doesn't need it. He's great all on his own. He doesn't NEED the past to motivate him. He doesn't NEED to wrestle a ghost in order to "prove himself". He's already done that. So, with that said, he appears to be free and clear to move on and capture more and more glory.  Right? I believe he can do this. However, he gets too emotional and worked up sometimes when he can't get what he wants. This leads to focus issues and just plain bad karma.   You know that saying, the student eventually becomes the master? Well, what if Randy mastered the art of always being a student?  If anyone can do this, he can! Think about it.

Well, that's all for now. I'm a fan, I'm a friend and I'm a female. So, farewell all, til next time, of course.

P.S. Waiting for your return, J.C. Miss you.

Kickin' it old school style and keepin' it real,

    Flawless
