The Righteous Shall Walk a Thorny Path

Wednesday, December 10, 2008, 09:00 AM EST [General]

I'm like an earthquake at LegoLand sometimes and I'm about to shake things up yet again.  Hang on, folks. The ride is about to begin so please keep all arms and legs safely in the vehicle as it is moving at all times.  Make sure all bags are properly secured in the overhead compartment or safely under your seat.  Fasten your seat belts.  It's about to get bumpy.

The Slammy Awards: Some of my predictions actually won. So, that was good. But some, not so much.  However, it was alright.  It evened out in the end.  If the person didn't win the award, he or she won the match and vice versa.

***Note: Since I'm not really up for leading the Parade of Pain just yet this morning, I will just say that Randy was right.  He should have been nominated for Superstar of the Year! Actually, him not being nominated added to the OMG Moment of the Year and the DAMN! Moment of the Year. Whatever. I'm done. Let's move on.

Maria looked pretty but kind of reminded me of Cyndi Lauper a little.  But, I LOVE Lauper so that was cool with me.  The Miz and John Morrison won Tag Team of the Year.  Now, if any of you have read any of my previous blogs, I will not be a hypocrite and say I didn't want this to happen because I absolutely did.  I'm not concerned with what invisible force made this happen but I'm thankful it did. However, the luck didn't spill over onto JM's match against CM Punk. He lost.  I was devastated but ya know, I'm proud of him.  I love both these wrestlers. So to CM, I say Good Luck on the IC Title.  To John Morrison, I say, keep at it.  Solo action is his element. He needs more matches, more research, and more titles. He's a survivor. He's got it in him...somewhere.

Cryme Tyme & Candace presented the Best Finishing Maneuver award.  Randy didn't win. I admit. I thought the RKO should have won.  It's just me.  No hate mail please. We all have our opinions. This is simply mine.  Evan Bourne won though which is also cool.  I love the Shooting Star Press. It's amazing.  Mike Knox stormed out and stole Evan's award.  Mike?  This isn't Pirates of the Caribbean!  You can't just go all willy-nilly and take whatever you want.  That's gounds for a good old-fashioned flogging, my friend!

Randy Orton came out holding the mic. Of course, my ears perked up like Scooby Doo! He announced that there will be a 2 on 3 Handicap match later on between Triple H and Batista against The Legacy.  Wait..I have to do my evil laugh..ah ah ahhhhh!  The Legacy was born 12/8/08!  I saw this coming long before it even happened and I'm so glad my vision came to fruition!  The Legacy won. However, that's definitely not the end. No no no...it's just the beginning. They have a strong enough foundation to build a Dynasty.  I want to be a part of it. I don't know about anyone else but I'm there!  Sign me up!

    MVP..poor thing. He's in denial.

Matt Hardy and Tiffany presented Jeff Hardy with the Extreme Moment of the Year award.  THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!  I was calling upon the Gods and Goddesses above for this one.  Jeff looked good. He looked healthy. He also looked a bit heavy-hearted. Maybe it was just me. I tend to read emotions a lot.  This match was great. It was exciting as I knew it was going to be. The two, Jeff and Chris, in personality couldn't be more polar opposite.  However, they have the biggest hearts in the biz.  They have the same goals. They just go about it in extremely different ways. This could be said for all wrestlers but these two stand out to me. That's all. If I could offer any advice for Jeff, since probably the biggest match of his life is coming up, it would be to meditate, center, focus. Edge is the ultimate opportunist.. Triple H is the cerebral assassin. Jeff has to be both.  He has to anticipate what they're going to do before they even do. It's a huge task but I believe he can do it.  He may just be walking, crawling or carried out...the winner!  He's got more to do. It's on the horizon.  The Righteous Shall Walk a Thorny Path.

Randy, Cody, and Manu were shown coming from Stephanie's office. :>

Excuse me???? Does Vicki still need to wear that neckbrace???

The match that surprised me was the Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston match.  Kofi Kingston brought it!  I admit it. I doubted him. However, I'm glad he proved me wrong.  When I'm wrong I say I'm wrong. I was really impressed with him.  These two probably exhibit some of the best sportmanship in the WWE. They are the perfect example that you can be victorious without having victims. There's always a mutual respect there.  Cool.

What the heck is going on with HBK and JBL???????  Creepy. Creepy and oh, did I mention CREEPY!!!!!!

Now..onto, what I thought, was the most entertaining match of the night, the 2 on 3 Handicap match. Or, should I say Handi-capable!  Triple H and Batista proved to be more than a simple challenge for the The Legacy...but still just a stepping stone.  Go big or go home, right?  Triple H can only fight what he sees. I guess, in a way Batista is the same.  That's why they scoff at Randy and never really take him seriously as a legitimate threat.  However, Randy sees the big picture and keeps chipping away at everyone else's foundations checking for weaknesses.  What can inflict the most impact with the least amount of energy? Conserve, Reserve, Preserve. This promotes longevity.  That's all they need really.  The Legacy got the win. I'm not surprised and I liked it.  Now...I'm going on and on about Randy and the LegacyTriple H and Batista are a force to be wreckoned with especially when they're together.  Triple H is steeped in history like a damn original colony and Batista is an animal whose biggest skill is survival.  I love the both of them too.  Damn this is getting good!  I can't wait. Can't wait!

Damn! Moment of the Year: Hold on. I have to censor myself!  What the BBBBEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP??????

The Truth is, Dolph is "what's up!" At least he was Monday night.  The jury is still out with me on these two.  Dolph is sill new and R-Truth hasn't been there that long for me to rule anything out. hmmm....R-Truth's strength is impressive. I'll give him that!

Here's another insight to me that I'm revealing. Why? I have no idea, just take it: I'm a sucker for the broody, moody, over-hanging forehead type: Jeff Hardy, John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge, Triple H. Adorable all and I LOVE John Cena's dimples...oh yeh, and those dimples too.  lol...  :>

Stephanie McMahon (looking beautiful as always) announced Superstar of the Year. Chris Jericho.  I think it would be funny if all John Cena had to do was play mind games on Chris.  He can be a guy in the audience one night, a member of the crew on another. As Jericho drives away, Cena's face just shows up in a window...lol...

I do miss the Jericho that just wore jeans and a t-shirtthough...a lot! :(

John Cena vs. Edge: God, I wish Edge was himself again....

Chris and Edge need an intervention and fast!

Anyway...This was a good match too.  Well, until it wasn't.  Instead of focusing on Edge, John Cena again went after Jericho. I guess you can't really ignore someone who is headed straight for you.  As soon as the bell rang, Cena was on Edge like white on rice (so old, lol..) Then Triple H shot down to the ring and attacked Edge. Jeff Hardy darted down and attacked HHH and Edge and then..well, chaos.

This Week's Focus Favorite:  Matt Hardy.  We all know how good Matt is. There's just no need to recap.

So, to conclude my rant and rave, I must say this..the more things change in the WWE, the more they stay the same.  ...and more I come back for it!

    Listening to Queen. Nuff said.

    Flawless

    Down the Rabbit Hole

Tuesday, December 2, 2008, 06:02 PM EST [General]

Hello, hello, hello!  I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to blog, blog, blog!  Wow! I think I had too much caffeine.  I just watched RAW again.  I watch it while it airs and then again  the next day so I can note all the things I want to say: just a little insight into the inner workings of my mind. RAW gets two thumbs up from me this week, because 1) I only have 2 thumbs, and 2) it was good! Duh!!!!

    Seriously,

Chris Jericho - Ahh...  What can I say about him at this point?  He's a force of nature and no matter how many times you get aggravated with him, he still has a little energy left to aggravate you some more.  But, I love it.  He started the show discussing how he has to save his son from John Cena and how he disrespects us little folk.  That's cool.  That's cool.  But let me just say this.  He's got an issue with Cena being his son's hero and so he pulled the plug on his sons watching time.  But, he doesn't have a problem with his son watching his father beat the hell out of Cena?  The violence, he doesn't care about.  Interesting...hmmm.

Is Chris jealous of the now enraged, hell-bent champion?  Again, interesting...hmmm.

Side Note:  Lilian's boots were FABULOUS Monday night!

Rey Mysterio got a bit roughed up before his match with the Miz by Mike "Knox 'em all about", and Stephanie later came on and said he had some ligament damage in his elbow.  Great.  Look what you did, you big mook!!!!

Punk & Kingston vs. Rhodes & Manu - So, here's the thing.  I only wish I saw in CM Punk 5, 6 months ago what I see in him today.  I've always liked him but lately, I've been taking a slight more shining to the punk-a-licious, parade enjoying, unique wrestler.  This match was solid. (I said solid. I better go get JJ and go to the local Discotheque, in my bell bottoms and boogie on down! lol..)  Anyhoo, Randy was looking on from the locker room.  I noticed Cody left the blue trunks behind for the black...hmmm:> I liked it.  Manu ran wild on Kofi for a bit and Kofi responded in much the same manner.

Cody is wrestling smarter, not faster. He's less impetuous and more focused.  Manu has the power and skills down, but lacks some of that focus by worrying about what's going on with the outside.  What one has the other lacks. That's why these two will go all the way. Of course, that's provided they stay friends.  If they could just trust each other's judgement in regard to letting the man in the ring worry about the opponent in the ring and let his partner on the outside worry about the outside intereferences.  They're definitely doing their homework and Randy is doing such a  great job with them.  They deserve credit too.  It's not all Randy. It IS a collabortive.  I'm so excited here I could spit!  Sorry, not very lady-like but what are you going to do, RKO me? Eventually, Kingston and Punk won the match. It was a great win too.  However, the prize that Manu & Rhodes will get is worth a whole lot more I tell ya.

Randy was coyishly waiting backstage for his proteges to whimper in.  Coy and clever is Randy.  He offered them an opportunity to collectively run amuck later on in the show.  It was their choice...

I'm so proud.  You know, the "You Can't See Me" motto should be Randy's.  If you think about it, RAW has no idea what's in store for the future (provided all the actors play their parts correctly).  All the stars are aligning though. Hee hee. I'm giddy with anticipation.  Okay, so I do have a bit of an mischieveous mind but if I can't write about it, what can I do with it?  Is Randy secretly raising an army?  yup yup. Nobody is the wiser?  nope nope.  (giddy) shhh..it's a secret.

Jericho tried to persuade Kane with lies in order to protect his assests, if you will. But luckily, Kane didn't fall for it.  Good boy!

Jillian vs. Melina - Can I tell you all how happy I am that Melina is back! However, now she has a Glamazonian shadow following her.  Melina won her match. Woohoo! Santino getting hurt was icing on the cake.  Not the injury, btw, but how he got the injury.

Quote of the week: "The only good thing about Santino is that he's not a twin!" -Jerry "The King" Lawlor.

JBL vs. HBK - This was just disrtubing.  Will HBK end up working for JBL????  What??? I don't care how desperate I was, I'd never work for JBL.  Yes, he's loaded.  But can you imagine what THAT would be like if you were Shawn Michaels??? He lost his money.  Okay.  But, did he lose his mind and self-respect too?  I DOUBT IT!  Shawn?  I've quoted it before and I must quote it again, " The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep." -Robert Frost

Dolph Ziggler vs. Batista - Must he introduce himself 87 times?  I suppose so.  Poor bastard. I believe his first match was with Batista.  How's that for being born under a bad sign???  Maybe he has to introduce himself so many times because he's afraid he'll forget his name after the brain busting that happens directly after??  Or, perhaps he's afraid WE'LL forget his name after the brain busting that happens directly after?  In any event, welcome to the WWE buddy!

Randy Orton stepped out from behind to congratulate Batista on his win.  Batista, however, was already aware of Randy's motive and zinged him with a match at Armegeddon.  This is going to be great. ah ah ahhhhhhh.  I'm so excited.

Jericho caught up with Randy backstage. (Damn. I've got to get backstage one of these days. That's where all the good dirt goes down!) Jericho tried to persuade Randy into picking a side well, his side, to attack Cena later on in the night.  Randy is smart enough to know that life finds a way.  You can prepare all you want but eventually, something will come out of nowhere and you must roll with the punches.  Fight or flight, baby!

Okay.  Onto Finley vs John Morrison:  I am SOOOOOO appreciative of this match. I'm thinking it was a small Christmas gift to me from the WWE. At least, that's what I'd like to believe. So, leave me alone.  Loved Morrison's glasses btw.  The man needs a hair commercial too, people.  Such great locks!  Anyway, I fell off my bed when John won!  I was so ecstatic.  FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!  My ideal Intercontinental Championship match would be John Morrison vs Rey Mysterio.  I know. I'm getting ahead of myself here but I can't help it.  You go, John!!!!  If you use your imagination, do you even KNOW how great that match could be?????  I love Mysterio but I've been waiting for Morrison to reach his true potential and just...thank you ,thank you for the present of the year!

So...Superstar of the year: Edge, Batista, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho and John Cena. Okay, so now I have to say, Why isn't Randy's name up there???? Whatever. Hopefully, my girl Stephanie McMahon will continue to allow Randy more opportunities. My picks would be Jeff Hardy or ,dare I say, Edge.  Truth be told, I would LOVE to just blog on my reasons for all of them to win the award but, frankly, there's just no time for that.  So, to make a long story short.  Jeff Hardy would be my ultimate choice.  Edge has been great this year. Not good great, of course. He's done some pretty horrifying things. But did he not entertain us to exhaustion??? C'mon guys. He went above and beyond the call of duty this year.  However, speaking of above and beyond..that is why I feel Jeff should win.  No one can do what he does, like he does.  Yes, he can be unpredictable. Yes, he can be, nuts. Yes, he can be off the wall extreme.  But isn't that what makes him great???  I have a million reasons why he should win. I say, Jeff.  But that's just me.

The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio - Rey looked like a one armed, flying purple people eater out there.  He never gives up though.  He wants the IC title.   The Miz can be really powerful at times.  If only he could sustain that power through the whole match.  He loves what he does. You can't argue with that but Rey's desire got the win. Randy? Do you have room for just one more?  The Miz?

Kane vs. John Cena - Cena still get smixed reactions when he comes out and he loves it!  He looks great, in my opinion.  However, looks can be deceiving.  Is he really okay?  Physically, yes, okay perhaps.  But mentally.  Wow!  I'm not so convinced.  The match was great, until Jericho ran to the ring creating the distraction he had planned earlier. (Hey, at least he didn't lie about it).  The inner enraged beast started to come out again.  His eyes even change; not the color, but something behind his eyes.  It's a bit too real for my liking.  Everything just got chaotic when Cody and Manu came out and started whaling on Cena.  Then, the big guy, himself, Randy was there to attack him also.  Did all this just make the beast even worse?  Did the flame just get more intense?  Yup. Uh oh...  I hate this part...the aftermath. But I have to say this; down the rabbit hole, anyone? I've already got MY ticket.

This week's Focus Favorite:  John Morrison

So, what would you do down the rabbit hole?

I'd start a revolution if only my cell phone, pda, computer, and ipod would all tell the same time!

Watch SmackDown and braid something.  It's fun.

    Being Put In The Midler

Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 09:24 AM EST [General]

I have so much to talk about, I'm going to explode or implode or go caplooey all over the floor in my office!  Who needs work, right now???  Not me. I'm on a break before the actual break: Thanksgiving , that is!  Woohoo!

My first thank you, goes to Bette Midler for inspiring me with, The Glory of Love and this blog!

Before I get started, I'd like to start out by saying that Survivor Series was great. I was expecting greatness and I got it.  That's never really happened to me before. I liked it.  It's a good feeling.  I must note to get it out of my system, and I don't even know to whom this is directed.  Perhaps I am sending it out into the cosmos somewhere in hope that somebody somewhere will answer my call.  Can't Jeff Hardy EVER get a break????????? Just when you think it's his turn, somthing happens and he slips down the ole proverbial ladder!  What's up with that???  That's it!  I'm sick of it.  I'm about to make him a belt myself and give him an honorary title!!!!  Must he be practically laid up in a stretcher before the higher-ups take notice.? He's not conventional but isn't that where the greatest of gifts come from sometimes? TAKE NOTICE! TAKE STOCK! TAKE A GOOD LOOK AROUND! The one we need is kept down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another thing that peeved me off was the whole Edge thing!  AAAGGGHHHH!!!!!  I'm so frustrated with this cause I was so psyched to see Edge back, but back with Vicki?  Oh hell no!  I refuse to watch that again. I'm done. I'm over it. So, that disappointed me BIG TIME!  But the rest of it was fabulous!! So, my second thank you, goes to the WWE for producing another great PPV!

You've got to give a little

    Take a little

And let your poor heart break a little

    RAW

So in the holiday spirit, my second thank you has to go to Shane and Stephanie McMahon for their sibling bickering and consistancy.  I think my New Year's resolution will be to learn audio cause when they started in on their usual banter, I wanted to add the theme from Benny Hill to the background!  lol...  Thanks guys. Love ya!

Christian:  There's been a lot of talk, especially in the universe, as to whether Christian will return.  I HOPE SO!!!!!!!  It's about time!!! I have two thumbs up for this move.  APPROVED!

    That's the story of

    That's the glory of love

The Miz & Morrison vs. Rey Mysterio and HBK: Is this a situation of "keep your friends close and your enemies closer?"  What transaction was JBL speaking of?  Enquiring minds want to know.  But John Morrison impressed me at the end of the match. I actually saw some aggression (real aggression) and frustration in him.  That was my third thank you.  It was a good thing, to me anyway.  I'm a fan.

Mr. Kennedy is back!!!!  Yeh!!!!! I was excited to see him back.  I've missed that voice, that face, that spice!  Ahh..the gang is almost all here!! yup yup! Great to have you back.  So, my fourth thank you goes to Mr. Kennedy for his return.

You've got to laugh a little

    Cry a little

Until the clouds roll by a little

My fifth thank you actual goes to Stephanie McMahon (again) because she was looking out for Randy Orton's interests. Just because all these wrestlers are coming back, Randy will NOT be lost in the shuffle. I can't let that happen. I won't. This does not say that I don't love John Cena and Batista because I do.  I'm psyched Cena is the Champ again. I am. It's just that sometimes hype can put perspectives in fogs, ya know?

I can't wait for the Slammy Awards, my sixth thank you, in 2 weeks. 3 hours! Be there! Wow.  I'm a little bossy while giving thanks! lol...

My seventh thank you goes out to Kane, of all people.  Thank you for using the stairs to the ring as weapon of mass destruction.  Nobody can quite kill a mood faster than you my friend.  lol... no seriously, thanks!

    That's the story of

    That's the glory of love

Chris Jericho has been touched by an angel.  That's all I can say.  He's now the # 1 contender.  He beat Orton and Batista.  You know, since I'm a student of Orton's, I've studied many a night watching him wrestle and trying to figure out what makes him tick. More research is required on that front.  However, I did discover something else.  He needs to be slapped around a few times in order to turn.  It's like a trigger.  The pain finally sparks some sort of fire! But when he does turn, watch out!.  You have to admire Jericho's tenacity though. He takes care of himself, physically, mentally, emotionally. He's independant.  I have to admire that. It's the mark of someone who has struggled and sacrificed and bled for what he believes in.  Don't get me wrong. All of these wrestlers have struggled, sacrificed and bled at some point or another.  But this is different. It's internal. It's ALL heart, not unlike a certain Hardy brother, we all know and love.  So, I respect that a lot!

As long as there's the two of us

We've got the world and all it's charms

    Santino vs. Goldust: Freakfest 2008

I was waiting for Layla to whip her shoe at CM Punk again.  That was great. Good aim, girl! But, watch it!  I loves me some punk.

Rey Mysterio WILL BE intercontinental chmpion. I believe it!  Do you?

My eigth thank you, has to go to Melina!  Thank you for coming back!  We've missed you. And what a comeback! You rocked, girl!  Impressive, impressive, impressive with avegeance!  Can't wait to see what she does next.

And when the world is through with us

    We've got each other's arms

Now, onto John Cena.  I thought the animal was Batsita? Was someone else studying pages from the Randy Orton handbook?  What, Cena, actually did come back anyway?  It was a bit scary. So, I have to direct this to the Champ, and I mean this with total love and respect: 'With great power comes great responsibility." You can't get the time you lost back. And maybe I'm leaping here, but, maybe nothing was stolen from you at all.  As I said before. TAKE NOTICE!  TAKE STOCK!  And TAKE A LOOK AROUND!  You weren't cheated. You were given a second chance.  You're injury just reminded you that you are human. You came back.  So, you are my next thank you of the year! You're return was a great one.  And to Jericho? Pappa Bear is back and you don't mess with the cubs!

You've got to win a little

    Lose a little

Yes, and always have the blues a little

This week's Focus Favorite: John Cena

That's it. That's the truth. I'm sticking to it!  Bye for now. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

    That's the story of

    That's the glory of love

OHHHH..my tenth and final thank you, goes out to the Universe. Thanks for...for...well...being there:)

Trying to tame a Lion, a Shrew, and convince a Turkey named Tom that this dinner is for their own good!  Oy!

    That's the story of

    That's the glory of love.

    Til next time,

    FLAWLESS

    Between the Lines

Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 03:02 PM EST [General]

Hey hey hey!  What's up everyone?  I LOVED RAW this past Monday night in Atlanta, GA!!!!

Let's get right to it.  Shall we?  The whole RAW roster was in the ring waiting for the great Stephanie McMahon to address certain questions and/or concerns the wrestlers may have had.  First off, Randy Orton.  I knew he would question Steph about John Cena.  As soon as he stepped up I knew what was coming out of his mouth.  It was a good question:  why John Cena?  Stephanie gave Randy an answer he didn't want to hear but when Randy turned around and warned his fellow wrestlers that he was next, I didn't hear Stephanie chime in with a , "no!"  hmmm.. I hope. I've got my fingers crossed.

Then...Cody Rhodes stepped up.  I also knew what was about to drip out of his mouth.  You know, I certainly hope Ted DiBiase shows as much concern and devotion to his friend Rhodes like Cody is showing to Ted.  If not, things will implode (from within).  Stephanie announced a 30 man Lumberjack match between Randy and CM Punk and I was like, "WOOHOO!"  Randy didn't want it but I did.  "Please sir, can I have some more?"

Santino was next, tried to rap, which I could barely make out and made no sense as usual.  Candace was rolling with laughter and I was right there with her.

JBL asked a question that's been on mind also for quite some time now, "where the heck is Vince?" A swift deflection from Stephanie and Shawn Michaels interrupted. Then, all hell broke loose.

I thought the Kelly Kelly match against Vicoria went well, until the RAW divas ran out to help the struggling Kelly...Kelly.  No room for SmackDown divas in that ring! The SmackDown divas vs. The Raw divas will be a female version of Westside Story. I hope its good cause I really want to see...something great out there.  I'll be singing, "When you're in Raw, you're in Raw all the way, from you're first Pay Per View to you're last dying day." (not that I'm taking sides or anything) :>-

I CAN'T WAIT FOR SURVIVOR SERIES!!! EVERYONE WATCH!!!!! Wrestling and Turkey.  There's nothing better, baby!

Batista vs. Manu:  This match was so good!!!!  I couldn't believe how good Manu was.  He utterly impressed me.  I wasn't sure about Manu because it seems as though he's been hiding behind Cody Rhodes. But, look what emerged!!!! I was pleasantly surprised.  He held his own against Batista and Batista barely got the win out! This guy is ready physically.  Mentally, hmmm not quite sure but he's progressing quite nicely!!!!  Randy watched from a distance as his students attempted a big win. He was unimpressed with Cody when he backed down from Batista, and later, he let him know it. I'm not worried. They're primed and ready. Now? Ted. I believe Cody will be there to back Randy up.  The question now becomes, will they get along long enough to compete togther?  Cody needs Randy.  He'll back him up even though he's frustrated with his mental blocks. Randy will eventually clarify things.  They'll have read between the lines.  Down the road, the three will see the light and put all the pieces together.  For now, things have to get worse before they get better. I'm hanging on every RKO.

I say, Randy Orton fans unite at Survivor Series!

Random Thought: Can you picture an 85 year old HBK dancing down to the ring to his music, "I think I'm cute, I know I'm sexy."  lol...

The Miz & Morrison vs. HBK & Rey Mysterio: The Miz and Morrison won!  I was happy cause I like them alot.  But don't get me wrong. I also love HBK and Rey Mysterio.  Is it possible to love 2 tag teams as once???  This match was so exciting.  I completely lost track of time and everything watching this one.  The Miz didn't know his name at the end but man, was it good!  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I've got to tell you.  If I was below a huge Kane flying at me from the top rope, I'd either cry, or scram. (I said scram. hee hee)

Mike Knox is a big mook.

Regal vs. Hardy was declared a double count out.  Gold has a strange effect on some people.  Regal looks possessed when he has to defend himself.

Chris Jericho:  nice suit btw.  He HAS done some pretty great things, some very impressive things.  I'm proud of him without sounding condescending.  But Cena has also done some fairly impressive things.  This match should be REALLY good.  Get your ear plugs out cause it's gonna get LOUD and I'll be leading the cheers! My hometown too!

Last but CERTAINLY not least, the CM Punk vs. Randy Orton, 30 man Lumberjack match!  Only Randy can keep his cool like that while looking out into a sea of unfriendly faces surrounding him in the ring.  There were a few rolls out of the ring and semi-lame beatings but Randy won!  Now, CM Punk is one of my favorites too. But, doesn't Randy, BRING IT a little bit more???  C'mon.  Doesn't he????He made a beautiful scoop slam (which was awesome) and I was afraid he'd get frustrated and lose focus but he didn't!!  It was great.

A brawl broke out after as they went off the air but the night was magical and marvelous!

    The week's Focus Favorite: Manu

Well, I have to run..to the tv to order Survivor Series!!!!

So, I'll see you all there????? That's what I thought.

Flipping dough and making a pizza with the works,

    To Teach His Own

Wednesday, November 12, 2008, 03:45 PM EST [General]

    Hey everyone!

I don't know if it was the overseas air or what? But RAW was awesome this week.

Batista was loose in the U.K.  He wanted to use his rematch clause, until, my girl, Stephanie McMahon interrupted him.  She denied him the opportunity wanting to "break away from the past and wipe the slate clean."  For the last time we saw Kane vs. Rey Mysterio in a no-disqualification match, and Jericho vs. HBK in a last man standing match.  Just as she thanked a frustrated Batista for his understanding, Randy Orton made his way to the ring.  Randy informed the animal that he'd have to wait in line for a title shot, and that it's HIS turn at the title after Survivor Series.  In pure Randy Orton style, he bated and pissed off Batista by saying he was better and that the animal couldn't beat him.  Batista responded by claiming that history is written by winners and protested that HE was the better of the two.  It was soon to be Batista vs. Orton to settle an old score and Randy said yes to it.  Although it didn't sit well with Batista that Randy believed he could hold onto the title for longer than 8 days, and because of that, the animal acted on it. But Randy scooted out of the ring. He does his best to stay away and lives to fight another day.

Random thought:  The audience was great Monday night btw.

Santino vs. Regal for the Intercontinental Championship: the Honk-a-meter is now gone.  What a pity. I was so attached to it too. (yes, I'm being sarcastic, people).  Instead, Santino revealed the Honk-a-perfect-mountie-meter.  I love when he says, "of all the times."  A knee to the temple by William Regal and we have a new Intercontinental Champion.  Do you think the Queen watches RAW????

Question:  What do Santino's tattoos mean?

Kane had his weekly casual yet creepy as hell message for the fans regarding his match with Rey Mysterio.

D Lo Brown vs. Mike Knox: this was a quick and scary debut for the brute wrestler. (yikes)

Kenny Dykstra was released.  Good Luck, Kenny. Hopefully, we'll see you wrestle real soon! I'll be bummed for the both of us. Another one bites the dust.

Chris Jericho made an early appearance, sarcastically commenting on the John Cena tribute, and flaunting his win over Batista. You all realize this will never work with Cena, right? The only thing Cena will be paying close attention to is the World Heavyweight Championship. When he wants some.  He gets some!  I can't wait!

Rey Mysterio vs. Kane: Kane just kept at it, and at it, and at it.  Rey was doing everything possible to keep from becoming Kane bate.  It worked too!  Rey's quickness and determination defeated the mighty monster even after he used Rey as a baseball bat!  Ouch!  But you go Rey!!!

Ted DiBiase has a concussion.  Damn! He best be back soon.  Randy informed both Rhodes and Manu that neither of them are in his league.  Cody, in anger, smacked Orton across the face (which wasn't the best thing to do). You definitely DO NOT want Randy as an enemy.  However, I firmly believe both, more Cody than Manu, are on the right track. I think Randy wanted some sort of retaliation to see what they're made of; to see if they have the guts and the smarts, if you will, to pick and choose their own battles.  He's making them stronger.

Batista vs. Orton: Just as the match was set to get underway, Rhodes and Manu stormed to the ring on a mission and told Randy he couldn't beat him or Batista but that HE will beat Batista instead!  So, the match happened.  The animal destroyed Rhodes but props to Cody for the moxy and gumption to get into the ring with Batista in the first place. He speared Manu and got the win over Cody.  All the while, Orton was watching from a safe distance to gain perspective.  It wasn't immaturity this time that stepped into the ring. It wasn't emotion acting without the benefit of intellect.  It was different. He's learning.  It's not about Batista. It's about something much much bigger.  Cody is almost there. However, Randy will be there too waiting for him.  Set them up. Knock them down, and see if they can fly on their own.  That's how we learn. That's how we grow. It may sound cold and harsh. But that's life.  And Cody will get it eventually.  Better to dance with the devil you know than the devil you don't.  Randy is an excellent person to teach them this lesson.  Here endth mine.

Beth vs. Micki for the Women's Championship.  Beth took the action to Micki without any hesitation.   Beth won but I think this win was pure luck.  She's lacking focus lately and it's due to a certain Italian, ya know...hmm.

Chris Jericho vs. HBK: I'm actually glad this calamity is now closed. I hated watching two wrestlers that I LOVE beat the **** out of each other week after week!  Good Grief, Charlie Brown.  The quicker they move on, the quicker I get some much needed sleep.  Sleep, good. (say it like a caveman for effect)

Question: Who else fought back the urge to jump into that little cab and drive to the local pub???

Back to the action: speaking of the cab, they wreslted on the roof of it, up and down the ramp, in and out of the ring, and on and off the stage!  It was freakin' great, man!

Confession: I love when a wrestler just THROWS a ladder at  someone.  He or she doesn't utilize it's designed purpose, rather, he or she will hurl it, as a weapon. I love it. Wait, isn't that supposed to be a bad thing to love?.  eh. I'll wrestle it off!

Michaels elbowed Jericho right through the announcers table. JBL tried to ambush HBK but was caught and directly tossed into the audience.  Meanwhile, Jericho snatched the belt and clobbered HBK over the head with it.  You really couldn't ask for more action, people.  Jericho was victorious and left a half broken Michaels lying on the floor. Where was JBL?  Good question.  Where was JBL?  Oh, he's in the mix don't you worry.  Michaels and JBL will have it and real soon.

Well, that was great. I'm exhausted.  No Hardy, no Miz & Morrison but still fantastic.

This week's Focus Favorite: Randy Orton
