There is something about the fall that gets every aspect of "ME" distracted, energized and imaginative. Maybe it sounds nerdy but I love school time. I love the change in foliage, the crisp weather, the warmer clothes, the holidays, etc. It's the death and rebirth of nature itself. The circle of life can easily be witnessed the most in the fall. Halloween is right around the corner: All Hallows' eve. Most of us enjoy celebrating Halloween but most, if not all, do not know the origin behind Halloween. Crack the Wikipedia and find out. It's pretty interesting stuff. Not only will you be amused but you can inform someone else and they will think you're a plethora of knowledge. I love the smell of fall too. I can't describe the smell accurately but it's so distinct. When you take the fall sniff sniff, you can tell the weather is changing. Basically, change is in the air and I smell it.
I've been a bit preoccupied lately and my blogs have suffered for it. But I'm here to say that Bragging Rights is shaping up to be a much anticipated PPV. But before we get into the Big B.R., I must comment on ECW last week. Paul Burchill is the man to watch out for. Well, he's the man I'm keeping an eye on. The other eye stays on his sister at ringside, Katie Lea. His match with The Hurricane found him trapped in the Superhero's snare throughout. However, Burchill seized control to get the win. You know, now that Regal and Royals are in charge, I'm surprised the Hurricave isn't a buzz with S.O.S.'s!
The Celtic Warrior seems a little green with envy when it comes to Shelton Benjamin. If he were to use Benjamin as a mere stepping stone to the top of the WWE ladder like he said, then why waste time coaxing The Gold Standard? Why not just move on? Could it be that Shelton presents an even bigger roadblock than he originally anticipated?
Mark my words. There will be an ECW uprising sooner rather than later. William Regal, Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson are dangling the roster over the edge of the castle and throwing the newbies scraps to eat. Eventually, someone (eh hem Christian), will become the conquering hero and organize a strategy to rid the ECW of William's rule. Will we see a stand of a band of merry men? I certainly hope so. Actually, DISorganization could the key in making this happen. Random is always great; and random, like nature, always finds a way.
To anyone who finds ECW the weakest of the three shows, you're not looking deep enough. There's buried treasure if you dig far enough down in the dirt and there's always consequences for doing that. ECW could prove to be the oil well we've been hoping for.
Get your shovel and prepare to get dirty.
Flawless
