It's another drizzly morning here in Boston. The sky is gloomy and yet enticing. I love the rain. There's something seductive about it. Actually, it's probably all of the damn vampire movies and shows I'm watching lately. It's vampire-mania. Hey, I'm not resisting either. I've succumbed to the thirst. You either have the characteristic or you don't. But that's a savory story for another neck. I mean, day.
Crazy pants Ryder went attitude to attitude with Shelton Benjamin who, coincidently, had the crowd behind him. Anyone notice? I found myself rooting for both men. This is one of those instances when I'm left feeling perplexed and conflicted. Zack Ryder waited too long for the Zack Attack and was hit with Shelton's Pay Dirt! Benjamin prevailed. It was a good match in my eyes. You know, another observation I had Tuesday night was that Shelton Benjamin is loosening up a bit. He's not AS rigid as usual and I'm happy to see that. It gave me the warm fuzzies.
Did Paul Burchill call my Gregory Helms ridiculous and a laughing stock? I may just have to whip out my Wonder Woman outfit and ... (oops! Almost gave it away).
Just once I'd love to see a "newbie" shock the Russian out of Kozlov or the domination out of Ezekiel and get the win! Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for poor Mr. Kevin Brooks. But I'm sure he'll have those memories burned in his mind for the rest of his life as he's walking crooked and going through doorways sideways! Enough is enough. Play or go home.
The Bella's introduced Paul Burchill (accompanied by his sister Katie Lea) and his opponent Yoshi Tatsu. Love the respectful bow before he enters the ring. There's something incredible about that. I have no idea what the heck he's saying but he sure gets me pumped and on his side! Yoshi was declared the winner of the match as the always resourceful Katie Lea interfered. The forces of justice blew through the ring as the Hurricane appeared and sought to keep the scales balanced once more.
That's right Tiffany! You take control and lay down the law!
The Tyler Reks and Tom James match was quick but showcased the strength, athleticism and potential of Reks.
Okay, "The Abraham Washington Show": Not that I'm complaining because any show starring the charismatic Christian is a "must see". But there ARE other noteworthy superstars making headlines in the WWE and on ECW. Personally, I'd love to see Abraham Washington try to interview Yoshi Tatsu! HA HAHAHAHAHA. William Regal's two second appearance doesn't count! No disrespect to Christian in ANY way. He's a favorite of mine: Always will be. Wonder why there wasn't a "CRY NOW" prompt to come up on the gargan-u-tron?
William Regal vs. Tommy Dreamer: Well fought and very physical! Regal can deliver some serious brutal shots which is probably what made him the winner. He's gunning for the championship. He can stage a palace coup and rule the ring while sipping on tea and nibbling crumpets. All in all, I'd say he's well placed in line for the title. However, the current title holder is still in charge!
ECW had another great show. I can't wait for SmackDown and Freddie Prinze Jr. is set to host RAW Monday night. So many good things...
Now if you'll excuse me, I have some AB negative to get back to.
Flawless
