The following is continued from Vol. One...
Now it was onto the Royal Rumble match, the whole reason for the PPV of course and the one match that finally captured my attention other than the two previoud title matches. But this time I was truly focused.
My dream pick to win the Rumble match would have been John Morrison, but that would've taken a miracle for that to happen as Trips had to thow both him and Miz out. Congrats to JoMo though for lasting as long as he did in the match though. I thought Undertaker would've tossed his as* ouuta there for sure long before HHH did. Now with only one of my favs left in the match (Randy Orton), I was pulling for Ortonmania to run wild and take home that number one contender's spot for a title shot at Mania. I must say though, had it not been for Cody and Ted distracting HHH in the end, I don't think Randy would've had the awesome oppourtunity he had to toss HHH over that he did. Thanks to the Legacy for helping RKO out on this one, but we all know that they're gonna want something in return in the near future for being Randy's bit**es all this time.
Random Rumble notes: Only Santino could be the perfect fit to break the record of least amount of time in The Royal Rumble match HaHa. 1 second in and then right back to the locker room. Thanks for coming HaHa.
Also on the note of coming and going, I don't get it why people spend so much money for a ticket and then spend half the night in the nacho line! That's just rediculous. A true WWE fan such as myself never leaves his seat unless I absolutley need to hit the bathroom. And another thing is, what is it with people showing up late? Then, as it was not even halfway into the Rumble match, I saw a whole freakin' row to the left in fornt of me leave! Good lord, they left during the match that was not only the most important of the night, but the reason why the ppv was happening in the first place! I just don't get some of the so called fans that show up to these events. The freakin' fool in front of me left though and I could've cared less about that because he take his little John Cena sign, DX shirt, and get this, Cena jacket HaHa, and shove it for all I care HaHa!
It's a good thing I decided to get my "Age Of Orton" shirt when I did. Normally I get stuff right away when I walk in, but I went to my seat first (The very last row at the top of the arena HaHa, I've officially sat everywhere now), then I went to the WWE Shop stand. I get up there for my turn, and the last Orton shirt is sold. How about that for whack, fortunately I got the one on the display hanger. Close call there. And if I'd had waited 'till the end, there were no more period, everyone elses shirt was left but his. It goes to show you who the best there is today really is.
Another thing that comes to mind is when people think that thier sign is gonna get on tv when they're in the upper level, not to mention 2nd to last row. Sorry folks not gonna happen, so put your signs down as the camera men only look for lower level signs while the wrestlers walk out and after they win/lose. And especially don't be holding 'em up during the match, good lord HaHa. But, it's all a part of the experience I guess, having to deal with the stupid fans in front of me HaHa.
Also on the sign subject, I brought a sign I made 5 years ago back into action, as I thought it was worth a shot because in 2004, it got me on SmackDown, and in 2005 it got me on tv for Survivor Series because it was just that dam* good HaHa. Even though I like JBL, it is a sign with a nice little phrase going against him. So just before his match with Cena, I went down the steps to the lower level in an attempt to get on WWE tv for a third time with the same sign. I went down too soon unfortunately and was told by the usher I couldn't and had to go back to my seat even though I explained the histroy of my JBL sign. Whatever, in the words of Carlito, "I spit in the face of peopl who don't want to be cool, " and the usher definately wasn't cool.
So, that's about it. It was great to return back to the Joe after a 3.5 year hiatus and see Ortonmania run wild during the Rumble match and now go onto WrestleMania 25. It was a good time all round and I look forward to the next WWE event that I attend.
