Why Hulk Hogan and Bischoff will be a great disappointment?

Thursday, October 29, 2009, 02:22 AM EST [General]

As we have read Hulk Hogan has signed on with TNA. A deal that is bringing Eric Bischoff, and could force Ric Flair to come to the TNA. Dixie Carter made it out to believe that this is a great signing just like Kurt Angle was, and how this was going to take TNA to a new level and make them compete against the WWE. She even had the press conference in the Madison Sq. Garden in NYC, which if you know your history WWE sort of was borned.

Dixie Carter made it seem that she has won, and beat Vince, but she really didn't. Hogan needs the money because of his nasty divorce with Linda Blank Hogan. Hulk was really hoping that McMahon would gave him a good deal, but, when Vince wouldn't do it. So, Hulk signed with TNA, and because of contract wording Flair could be forced to come to TNA. Plus, Eric Bischoff will be coming too.

Getting Sting to come back to wrestling, was a big thing because at the time Sting hadn't wrestled since WCW shut down, but bring in Hogan was not a big deal as she made it out to be. In '93, when Bischoff got Hulk to come to WCW, it was a big deal, but not today.

This deal will lead nothing to doom, disapointment, and bad blood.

I love Hulk Hogan, he is still and will always be one of my favorites. Hogan can still attract, and the ratings will go up for awhile just like when Foley came in and Angle came in, but after awhile it will start to go down fast. Hogan should've took up Vince's plan of maybe having a farewell tour, because Hogan can't wrestle much more. Back, hip, knees injuries are hurting him now. Foley, Angle, Sting (if he comes back), Nash (who is on his last legs, and can barely wrestle) might be willing to take a lose for the team, but some of the young guys may not be so willing. Alot of young guys, were and are Hogan fans, but they were just told that TNA will go with youth and push them, but with Hogan on the show how long will it be before Hogan wants the belt. Hogan has never got along with Ferrera and Russo, especially after went down in WCW last days.

Another reason, is that Eric Bischoff has had alot of success in his life outside of wrestling. Some of the reality shows that have been on VH1, have been produced and created by him, but how he looked in his picture at the press conference, he didn't look over joyed. If Dixie thinks she is getting the Eric Bischoff that had WCW beating WWE for awhile, she is in for a big let down. Russo and Ferrera have never seen eye to eye with Eric. besides, having Ted Turner's check book, which, is not the only reason was so good for WCW is that this business has changed. Telling the results of WWE shows will not work today because unlike back then there are dozens and dozens of wrestling websites, and they all have spoiler alerts of ECW, Smackdown, Raw when it is taped, and Oh yes, TNA. Dixie's Daddy is not Ted Turner. Plus, even though Spike is talking of another show to go on against RAW, Spike has also been know for not keeping up their agreements. They hurt ECW when they were, TNN. They tried to control the WWE, but couldn't so they instead back out of the possible shows that they told WWE they were going to do with them. Spike likes TNA because they have some control, but know TNA don't have enough to beat the WWE. When WWE had to go on Thursday because of the Dog show WWE killed them.

Plus, Jarrett and Dixie are in a power stuggle. Dixie wants Jarrett to sell, and leave, and Jarrett don't want to. Eventually, this struggle will hurt TNA, if has not yet. Dixie is very willing to please big stars like when Angle wanted booking and more creative control, or he was going to bolt; she gave it to him; even sent Jarrett home when it was found out that Kurt's ex-wife and Jeff have been sleeping together and living together. How long, before she gives in to Hogan, and gives what he wants, which will really piss off Russo. How long before Eric and Russo get into it?

Right now, I wouldn't be surprised if Flair is calling Vince, plus Triple-H, HBK, and Taker to help convince Vince to help the "Nature Boy" to get out of this contract, and will be to do anything. Flair has never liked TNA; he has always bashed them on tv. Flair promised Vince he would retire and only wrestle over seas. He never wanted to burn any bridges with McMahon. If Ric gets stuck and is forced to join TNA, he will not be happy, and will kill whatever friendship he had with Hulk. Flair will never trust Hulk again, espeically if he knew this could happen.

The mney she has given to Hogan could have been used to go get DVD, which, would've been a big deal.

Dixie says there will be more big annoucement. For TNA sake, there better because this will be ultimately big a dispointment and a big failure that could kill TNA.

I met a Legend. I met Hulk Hogan

Thursday, October 29, 2009, 01:12 AM EST [General]

On Tuesday October 27, 2009, in New York City, I traveled through the rain, took the light-rail, the path train, and the B train to Barnes and Noble on 46th and 5th to get on line and meet one of my favorite wrestlers all time, The Immortal Hulk Hogan. Everytime, he was near where I lived, I would miss him; either because of asthma attacks, bad weather, couldn't afford it, or whatever the lords of fate decided to block me, but when I found out over a month ago, that Hulk Hogan was going to be in town, I started to count down the days, and for a few weeks I thought I was going to miss him again, but with luck and some money. I went to go see him. Hulk has been through alot over the last few yrs. with Nick's troubles, Brooke music, career, nasty divorce thanks to his now ex of Blank wife Linda, and her new baby wait I mean baby boyfriend new Girlfriend, back problems, money problems, and a tour to down under. I really wanted to go there to show my support, and have the pleasure of meeting him. Meeting a legend that was not just part of my childhood, but millions of others, and still is. I waited for over two hours. When it was my turn, I told him how much of a pleasure and honor to meet him. I told him that I still remember seeing him for the first time in 1987 at the Meadowlands Arena when he faced Killer Khan and his manager for the great Mr. Fuji. Hogan won that night. Also there was the Great Mouth of the South, Jimmy Hart. I asked Jimmy when is he coming back to manage to Hart Dynasty? I found out later that Hogan signed on with TNA, but for me October 27, 2009 was a great day in my life.

For those, who will ask why I didn't get a pic taken with him; you couldn't, but I waited outside, and got this great picture coming out.

Will Tiffany ever being taking seriously as a GM?

Monday, October 26, 2009, 11:30 PM EST [General]

Tiffany has been GM of ECW for a while. She has made some matches that fans loved. For the most part, she has a great job, and coming back after accident all in a cast, gave her more respect. She has even maybe set herself up one day to become Smackdown GM, or if they ever stop guest hosts, thhe GM of Raw. She traded her rising stars in Bourne and Swagger, and got two vets in Golddust and Regal to help train the young guys. Now, she has lost Sheamus traded the Bella Twins for Rosa while not trading her better female wrestler Kate-Lea.

However, that there still sees her as a pretty face nothing more. Plus, point out that she has not gave Shelton Benjamin a chance at Christian for the title. Plus, she never seems to truly get angry get mean, and raise her voice, like former female GM's Stephanie and Vickie will do when they got mad and upset. Women that have truly got their hands dirty to make their show better.

Now, she has learned from Teddy Long, and some of the guys do appear to trust her.

Only time will truly tell, what Tiffany is really made of.

Two and Half Stars to Laureen Mayhem

Monday, October 26, 2009, 11:04 PM EST [General]

A while ago, I wrote how New ECW and the replacement for Lilian Garcia Laureen Mayhem needed alot of improvement. Some said I was too Harsh, and I can't compare her to Lilian. Well, Today Laureen has improved greatly since that blog. Now I'm not saying it was my blog. But she is doing all things she has to do to get improve. She dresses better, she puts more energy into her introductions, and we can spot her now.

I hope she continues to do well.

    Can Evil Batista be accepted?

Monday, October 26, 2009, 10:53 PM EST [General]

As some of us saw Batista exploded and went evil or Mysterio. We all talked about how Cena should turn heal, but the universe never talked about an Evil Batista.

Evil Batista should be interesting. He has already beat up on fan favorite Rey Mysterio. Too bad, that he didn't use that energy on Taker.

Batista has alot to be angry about. Due to injuries and loses. Batista has not main evented WrestleMania since that great WrestleMania match Taker and him had at WrestleMania 23, and instead of a return match he had to wrestle Umaga. Then he goes to Raw wrestles Cena breaks his neck, and then Orton injuries him. Comes back, to wins the title only to get hurt and goes down again before you can say Mr. Kennedy. Now he is back on Smackdown where he has so much success, and loses to Mysterio, and then the fatal four way.

Can Batista pull it off? Only the time and story lines will tell.
