A week after Hulk Hogan's new book came out and signing on with TNA, Hulk Hogan is making wild claims about Vince and the WWE?
First: He is slamming his HOF ring saying Vince must twenty dollars for it, and his high school ring is better. If that was the case, why did you even bother ever wearing it, including at the press conference.
Now, Hogan is claiming that he taught Vince everything about the business, how to party, wrestle, weightlifting, etc. Vince was working in this business long before Hogan came. Second, It was Vince who picked Hogan to take wrestling to the next level.
The only thing I would ever agree with Hulk is that it was Vince and him that did change the business together. Vince could make any one into a superstar, but for what Vince wanted to do to make WWE big everywhere, he needed that star that really special it, and that was Hogan. However, It was Vince ideas, marketing, and hustle, that made Hogan a global icon.
My point is Hogan is starting to look more bitter after Vince wouldn't give him more money, and was forced to sign with TNA. Plus, I think Vince inducting Austin and calling him the greatest WWE superstar ever, which, Hogan some say Hogan sort of saw a slap for what he did for the WWE.
Now, Hulk is saying TNA is coming for Vince, but is really TNA coming for Vince or is it a bitter Hulk coming for him, and will that bitterness use his creative control in TNA to wind up hurting TNA and destroying it. Dixie might see this as a good thing, but remember Eric and Ted went after Vince, and came close, but in the end they only made Vince raise his game make new WWE stars, and winning the war.
I love Hulk Hogan. He will always be one of my favorites, but it hurts me seeing a man possiblity destroying his legacy that he should be remembered as a great legacy and not one ending in bitterness. He deserves to go out like Flair and not remembered as broken down and bitter.
