For the very first time I was rooting for Scheamus to do something.  I was actually rooting for him to sock that smurfing fool, Abraham Washington, right in the mouth.  And why did Tony Atlas have to come back with that annoying laugh?  The real funny stuff came when Shelton Benjamin came out and revealed Scheamus's family tree.  It turns out he is related to Ronald McDonald and Carrot Top!  LOL!  Scheamus didn't think it was funny as he attacked the Gold Standard from behind.  I thought the joke was real funny.  Scheamus should get a sense of humor.

In my opinion, the newest star on the rise is Yoshi Tatsu.  This guy captivates the crowd and is very talented in the ring.  He has these buzzsaw like kicks that remind me so much of Yoshiro Tajiri.  It makes me wonder if he trained him or not.  And the wins for this newcomer keep piling up.  Take last night for instance, he defeated Paul Burchill.  Last week it was Zack Ryder but I think pretty much anyone in ECW can beat this loser.

Speaking of losers, thank goodness WWE had enough common sense to not put the ECW title around the waist of someone with absolutely no talent like Zack Ryder.  I will admit at some points during his match with Christian he did okay.  But I think Ryder has alot more work to do before he can reach the level that Christian is on right now.

For my ECW Star of the Week, I give it to Yoshi Tatsu.  I think they need to bring the cruiserweight division back to the WWE and let Tatsu have a run as champion.  They could very far with that.

For my ECW Loser of the Week, I give it to Abraham Washington simply because he is a smurfing idiot!

    RAW Insite for 9-21-09

Tuesday, September 22, 2009, 05:42 PM EST [General]

The Legacy girls tried to take HHH out last night by breaking his neck around a chair.  Thank goodness HBK was able to get the sledgehammer and force the Legacy girls away from the Game.  The Legacy girls will soon face hell when they are locked inside the cell with DX.  I have two words for the Legacy girls, LIFE INSURANCE!

Cedric the Entertainer was the guest host for RAW last night.  Everyone was having a good time until Chavo decided to come out and be a buzzkill.  He challenged Cedric to a match which was accepted by Santino on Cedric's behalf.

Last night was Lillian Garcia's last night as the RAW ring announcer.  She had a grace and beauty that will be missed by one and all!

The main event last night was John Cena, MVP, and Mark Henry vs Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, and the Big Show with the stipulaton being if Cena's team won then Orton would have to face Cena's team in a gauntlet match next week.  If Orton's team won then it would be Cena facing Orton's team in a gauntlet match.  Let's be honest.  Can you say predictable?  I didn't even watch this one cause I knew what was going to happen.  I knew Cena's team was going to lose and Cena would be in the gauntlet match next week.  I hate it when the show gets predictable.  It makes the show boring.

For my RAW Star of the Week, I give it to Cedric the Entertainer for sticking to Chavo with the old switcheroo.  Chavo never had a chance against the CEDHAMMER!

For my RAW Losers of the Week, I give it to the Legacy girls for trying to take the Game out of wrestling for good.

    TNA Impact Insite for 9-17-09

Friday, September 18, 2009, 05:39 PM EST [General]

The semi finals of the Knockouts tag team title tournament took place last night.  The first semi final match was Tara and Christy Hemme vs the Beautifully Stupid People.  I was really pulling for Tara and Christy to win this one so I can see them tag again.  For some reason Madison Rayne came out and sprayed Christy with hairspray right in the face and right in front of the referee she boinked a couple of ppvs ago.  The Beautifully Stupid People won the match and accepted Madison Rayne back into the fold.

Rhino has some serious issues he needs to work out with a therapist.  If he can't handle the pressure of being a TNA superstar he needs to retire or look to other promotions for work.  Brother Devon tried to put him in his place and got beatdown for his trouble.  Brother Ray took offense to that and proceeded to beatdown Rhino.  If it wasn't for security stepping in, who knows what those two would have done to each other.  Rhino better quickly forget about Brother Ray and switch his focus on Bobby Lashley.  Lashley has a score to settle with him for that beating in the gym last week.

The second of the semi final matches pitted Sarita and Taylor Wilde vs Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed.  Kong as usual was dominant.  But she made a fatal mistake turning her attention towards Sarita on the outside of the ring.  Taylor came up behind Saeed and scored a huge German suplex, getting the win for her team.  Kong went insane and tried to attack them but she was too slow.  So in the finals at the next ppv, it will be The Beautifully Stupid People vs Sarita and Taylor Wilde.

The main event was huge last night as Matt Morgan took on Samoa Joe.  The matchup was pretty even until Kurt Angle decided to interfere and sparked a huge brawl between them.  Security could barely do anything to keep them separated.  Angle kicked Morgan south of the border and Angle Slammed him through a table.  I wonder if this is a sign of what to expect at the ppv.

    ECW Insite for 9-15-09

Wednesday, September 16, 2009, 04:32 PM EST [General]

The show started out nice last night with General Manager Tiffany coming out.  I prefer to call her an extreme beauty.  Regal came out with his roundtable of fools, Jackson and Kozlov, and tried to intimidate Tiffany into giving him another rematch for the ECW title.  Regal has had two chances at the title and he lost both times to Christian.   Tiffany instantly booked Regal in a match against the Hurricane.  Hurricane dominated him for the most part but Regal got in one knee shot to the head and knocked him out.  Regal needs to learn that he needs to work his way back up the ladder if he wants another shot at the title.

Goldust teaching Yoshi Tatsu english, that's funny.  However the woo woo woo fool, Zack Ryder, tried to crash the party and asked Yoshi to say the word loser and he did.  He said Zack Ryder.  The idiot then got angry and challenged him to a match.  Two good things about the match.  One, the Bella twins were the ring announcers. Whenever they are out in the ring, we are all winners in my opinion.  The second good thing about the match, Yoshi put Ryder in his place and knocked him out with a lethal kick.  The woo woo woo fool better learn to keep his mouth shut and his ego in check.

A big battle royal took place to determine the new number one contender.  Out of all that, Zack Ryder won and became the number one contender.  Allow me to elaborate on this subject.  What in the world is the WWE thinking making the woo woo woo idiot the number one contender for the ECW title?  There are more qualified contenders who are more talented than Ryder who should have got it.  Regal, Hurricane, Shelton Benjamin, Goldust, Kozlov, Jackson, Tommy Dreamer, and even Paul Burchill.  Why in the freaking world did they decide to go with an idiot who prances around and says woo woo woo likes it cool?  This is like the WWE is giving ECW a big middle finger.  Ryder is not in Christian's league.  I would like to know WWE's reasoning behind their choice of Ryder being the number one contender.  WWE is throwing this brand down the toilet and they don't care.

    RAW Review 1-26-09

Monday, January 26, 2009, 11:38 PM EST [General]

    Randy Orton Promo

Orton introducing a therapist and two lawyers to say his suffers from IED was a nice play up on his storyline.  The threat of two lawsuits compounds the story even more and makes for a more dynamic situation.  Orton's reading of the apology was kinda eerie though.
    Score: 5 out of 5

    World Tag Team Title Match
The Miz and John Morrison vs Cryme Tyme

It was kinda obvious that they were gonna keep the belts on Miz and Morrison to play up to their heel characters.  The match itself wasn't that bad but I don't think the crowd was into that match too much.  When the crowd isn't in the match, you know something's wrong with it.
    Score:  3 out of 5

    JBL Promo

It was an okay promo, but having the premise that HBK and Cena were going at it again is kinda old.
    Score:  4.5 out of 5

    Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
    Kofi Kingston vs Kane

A very nice match with an upset victory to boot.  I thought Kane's reaction was superb.
    Score:  5 out of 5

    Chris Jericho Promo

The promo was steered toward Mickey Rourke stating that Ric Flair and Roddy Piper were teaching him and he may challenge Jericho at Wrestlemania.  Great, another celebrity, just like last year, wants to get into the ring.  If Rourke gets alot of money like Floyd Maywether did last year, it will trumped and very boring.
    Score:  4.5 out of 5

    Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
    John Cena vs Shawn Micheals

The match was ok at best, but I've seen better from these two.  It was nothing like the amazing match they had a couple of weeks ago.
    Score:  4 out of 5

Melina and Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoenix and Jillian Hall

I thought it would have been more interesting to have Beth pin Melina rather than Kelly.  It would have added more fire to their rivalry.
    Score:  3.5 out of 5

    Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
    Rey Mysterio vs William Regal

My only beef with this match is that the crowd wasn't into it until close to the end of the match.  Other than that, perfect.
    Score:  4.5 out of 5

    Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
    C.M. Punk vs Chris Jericho

These two had a great steel cage match a few months ago, but this match kinda fell short.  Jericho's execution of the Codebreaker was very poor.  They should have given this match more thought and time.
    Score:  3.5 out of 5

    Stephanie/Orton Confrontation

What a shocking twist to have not only all the superstars confront Orton on stage, but to have Shane come out and assault Orton.  Now I won't bring in the fact that Shane could have done better throwing his punches because of the shock value of his return.  Having Shane go after him was a nice move and makes the storyline entertaining in my book.
    Score:  5 out of 5

Total Show Rating:  42.5 out of 50

    RAW REVIEW TRIVIA QUESTION

In honor of last night's Royal Rumble, here's my trivia question.  What was the only year that the WWE title was decided in the Royal Rumble match, who was the champion going into the match, who won that match, and what number was he in the Rumble?  Leave me your answers here.  The correct answer will be in next week's RAW REVIEW.
