Who couldn't be happier for Jeff Hardy finally becoming WWE Champion other than his own brother, the current ECW Champion Matt Hardy? No one that this Wrestlegamer can think of. Hardy mentioned that when he and his brother came to the WWE ten years ago, they wanted to cement their names in WWE history. With Jeff's win, they have done just that. Two former team mates, two brothers for the first time are major title holders in the WWE. Matt with the ECW Championship and Jeff with the WWE Championship. I am certain it will be a very Merry Christmas in the Hardy household this year. I guess Chavo thought he could spoil the moment for Matt by challenging him for the ECW title. His effort was all for naught as once again Matt defeated Chavo and retained his ECW title.
DJ Gabriel and Alicia Fox showed everybody that they can jiggy with it, even with Christmas music. The World's Strongest Santa, you read right, turned the joyful holiday moment into a dark warning for Hornswaggle with a promise to eliminate him with a World's Strongest Slam. Poems like that coming from a man like Mark Henry scare me.
Speaking of Hornswaggle, he was up to his usual antics by swiping Matt Striker and Todd Grissom's Slammy and pouring water on Striker. Striker wasn't too pleased but he kept his cool considering the fact that Finlay was right there. I tell you what, if a man like Finlay was right next to me, I would let Hornswaggle pull any kind of prank he wanted on me.
For my ECW Star of the Week, I give it to Matt Hardy for retaining his title and for shutting Chavo up.
For my ECW Loser of the Week, I give it to Tony Atlas for his somewhat outrageous reindeer getup.
