    Hell in a Cell Review

Sunday, October 4, 2009, 09:24 PM PST [General]

    World Heavyweight Championship

    CM Punk(c) vs. The Undertaker

Winner: The Undertaker to win the World title.

    Rating: 1/5

This was horrible. 15 minutes for entrances, and build up videos. Then Undertaker and CM Punk have a 10 minute match. On top of all that it was the first match of the night. WWE, you have failed. Undertaker had no business winning the title. If he cant work a match longer than 10 minutes he shouldn't be the world champion. Also, good job making Punk look weak. All that work he put in against Jeff Hardy just went to waste.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

    Intercontinental Championship

    John Morrison(c) vs. Doplh Ziggler

Winner: John Morrison to retain the IC title.

    Rating: 3/5

This was one of the few bright spots on the PPV. This was a pretty good match. I expected more, but whatever. Pretty solid action, it didn't make either guy look weak.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

    Diva's Championship

    Mickie James(c) vs. Alicia Fox

Winner: Mickie James to retain the Diva's Championship.

    Rating: 1.5/5

Sloppy match. It was what I expected.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    Unified Tag Team Championships

Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. Batista & Rey Mysterio

Winners: Jericho and Show to retain the Tag Team titles.

    Rating: 2.5/5

This was a decent match. It was about what I expected. Decent action. I'm glad Jericho and Show retained the titles. Also, they didn't reward Mysterio after his suspension which is good.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    WWE Championship

    Hell In A Cell

    John Cena(c) vs. Randy Orton

Winner: Randy Orton to win the WWE title.

    Rating: 2/5

Boring match. I'm sad that Orton won because more than likely we will get Orton vs. Cena for the 5th PPV in a row. Bad booking decision. I'm about to give up on RAW.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth

    Winner: Drew McIntyre.

    Rating: 2/5

Short match. They should of saved this match for Smackdown, and put a ECW title match instead. It was an okay match. McIntyre need somebody better to work with. I would like to see who he feuds with next, then I will give an opinion on him.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    United States Championship

    Triple Threat Match

Kofi Kingston(c) vs. The Miz vs. Jack Swagger

Winner: Kofi Kingston to retain the US title.

    Rating: 2.5/5

This was a decent match. Good action. I was hoping to see Jack Swagger win. I would like to see Kofi defend his title in a singles match that doesn't end in a DQ.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Tag Team Hell In A Cell

    DX vs. Legacy

    Winner: DX.

    Rating: 1.5/5

Boring and predictable. Thats all I have to say.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    Overall: 3/10

Boring PPV. Horribly booked. The matches were out of place. Too Predictable. No wonder I don't pay $40 to watch the PPV's anymore. I could of been working during this PPV. That would of been a better use of my time.

    Hell in a Cell Predictions

Sunday, October 4, 2009, 10:09 AM PST [General]

    Hell in a Cell Predictions

    R-Truth vs. Drew McIntyre

    Winner: Drew McIntyre

I'm glad to see Vince giving Drew his first match on PPV. It shows that Vince thinks he will be a huge star.

I think this will be a good match. Not that big of a fan of R-Truth but since it is Drew McIntyre's first match in the WWE, he might do what ever he could do to make it a good match.

    Intercontinental Championship

    John Morrison(c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

    Winner: John Morrison

Dolph and John need to make Vince regret that the WWE took the match they were supposed to have at Breaking Point. I think it could be a great match. It has good build up, and John and Dolph are really good workers. This match could be the best match of the night, and that is saying a lot considering that there are 3 Hell in a Cell matches.

    Unified Tag Team Championships

Chris Jericho and Big Show(c) vs. Batista and Rey Mysterio

Winner: Batista and Rey Mysterio  win by DQ.

This match shouldn't be good. Thats all I have to say.

    United States Championship

Kofi Kingston(c) vs. Jack Swagger vs. The Miz

    Winner: The Miz.

This could be a really good match. Kofi and Miz work good together and Jack Swagger is one of the best midcard workers in the WWE. I expect the Miz to win. I think they will keep Swagger's options open. So I expect Miz to pin Kofi Kingston.

    Divas Championship

    Mickie James(c) vs. Alicia Fox

    Winner: Mickie James

Before I say anything I want to ask why this match is on here and ECW doesn't have a match on this PPV. Stupid idea Vince. This match shouldn't be good. Mickie has been extremely sloppy and Alicia Fox is not that good in the first place. They should of saved this match for Raw.

Hell in a Cell match #1

    D-Generation X vs. Legacy

    Winner: D-Generation X

How ever I want Legacy to win, I don't see it happening(for obvious reasons). This could be a good match. If its anything like the match they had at breaking point it should be good. I expect DX to put a good beatdown on Legacy(it should be the other way around).

    World Heavyweight Championship

    CM Punk(c) vs. Undertaker

    Winner: Undertaker.

This should be the best match of the night. I see Undertaker walking out with the World title. Punk should stay champion, but I know how Vince is about making the face go over in the end.

    WWE Championship

    John Cena(c) vs. Randy Orton

Winner: John Cena to end this goddamn feud.

Please!!!! Vince end this feud already. Bring somebody new into the title scene. I am begging you. I am typing this on my kness!!!

This should be a good match. I would be extremely pissed if Orton wins because I don't want to see an anymore Orton/Cena matches. But I think the WWE will make the right decision and keep Cena the WWE Champion.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think this will be a average PPV. Maybe a 6/10 or a 7/10. This could have some match of the year candidates on it. If the PPV is worth it, I will make a review for it after.

Superstar of the Year Monthly Update

Thursday, October 1, 2009, 11:22 AM PST [General]

Click Here for Last Months Update

Here is the Update for September - October

    1. Christian

    2. CM Punk

    3. William Regal

    4. Jack Swagger

    5. Goldust

Christian again retains the #1 spot. After having a good match with Regal at Breaking Point, and then he had a really good match with Zack Ryder on ECW.

CM Punk retains the #2 spot. He wasn't able to over take Christians spot because he has really shown anything this month. His promos have been good, but I haven't seen him really have a great match in September. He did just enough to retain the #2 spot.

At the #3 spot it's William Regal. William Regal has moved up two spots from last month because he has been having good matches, and he is cutting good promos. What cemented his spot was the match he had on Superstars against Goldust.

At the #4 spot, Jack Swagger drops one spot. He did enough to to stay in the top five but he is still hasn't been showing what he did earlier in the year.

At the #5 spot, Goldust enters the top 5. Ever since he has been on ECW, he has been able to show that he could still work like he did in the 90's. He had a really good feud with Sheamus, then his match with Regal is what broke him into the Top 5. On top of all that he is getting some of the biggest pops on ECW.

    So long to...

Dolph Ziggler, he has been lacking since the last update. Not having a match at breaking point really hurt, but he really hasn't shown what he could do on Smackdown either.

Random blog and my reaction on Batista going to Smackdown.

Tuesday, September 15, 2009, 05:43 AM PST [General]

Let me start off by saying, for the past 5 years wrestling has been on a downward spiral. We have had great wrestlers die, we have seen great wrestlers leave pro wrestling, and a bunch of other really sad things. This downward spiral started when Brock Lesnar decided to leave pro wrestling for MMA. That was a tough blow not just for the WWE, but for pro wrestling as a whole. Everybody was hoping that when Brock came in, that he would change the way a big guy wrestles, kind of like what Undertaker did in the 90's. Brock was fast, he was agile, and on top of that he was incredibilly strong. He was supposed to be the next big thing in pro wrestling, he was supposed to be the Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin of this era. But then he left, and thats when this downfall started.

After Brock left, wrestling started going down hill. We lost two of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time(Eddie and Benoit). All these steroid alligations hit the WWE. Politcs. Everything is coming down. Here is the WWE, with it's back against the wall, they pull one out of left field and they bring CM Punk to the main roster. After CM Punk came in, I had hope that the WWE might be changing they're ways. CM Punk doesn't drink, he doesn't do drugs, he doesn't smoke, he is the key. He is the key to get past the "Wellness Policy ERA". And for a while there I started to believe.

Fast forward to 2008. The WWE has done the same thing over and over again. Triple H wont let go of his spot, John Cena gets shoved down everybody throats. No talent hacks like Batista, get pushed ahead of guys like Matt Hardy, Jamie Noble, etc. Then out of nowhere Vince pull out a surprise.

It started out as a normal episode of Monday Night RAW. Edge came out to cut a promo, Batista came out and beat the **** out of Edge. The same stuff they have been doing. But this night wouldn't just be any episode of Monday Night RAW. After Batista beat up Edge, Batista starts walking up the stage. Batista music is blaring over the PA system, then all of a sudden, you hear the band Killswitch Engage. Everyvody is wonding what is going on. Then CM Punk come out with a referee, pointing at his Money In The Bank Briefcase. CM Punk gets in the ring, the ref calls for the bell. CM Punk hits the GTS on Edge, 1,2,3.. Punk is the new World Heavyweight Champion. Everything bad that this company has done fade in the past as CM Punk celebrated with the World title. Everything is perfect... then it all goes back to the way it was before.

After CM Punk won the title for the first time, there was a glimmer of hope that the tides in the WWE might be changing. That instead of seeing the same old wrestlers in the main event we might get some fresh faces. We might get some smaller wrestlers in the main event. But just like normal Vince crushes that hope. Because two months later, CM Punk drops the title without even defending it, after one of the worst title reigns of all time. He got elevated to the main event, then he got dropped back to the midcard like nothing.

From January to June, that was the worst I have ever seen the two main shows in the WWE. Smackdown and Raw were unwatchable. Again, it was the same old stale wrestlers. The same match over and over again. Triple H vs. Randy Orton, John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Randy Orton vs. Batista. Over and Over again. But just like before, a savior came in the form of CM Punk.

At Extreme Rules, CM Punk became World Champion again at the expense of Jeff Hardy. after that happenend, the tides started to change again. Smackdown became the best that it has been since 2003. Jeff Hardy was finally having good matches. The past three months have been real good for Smackdown. Not only to we have a good show on Tuesday(ECW) now we have a great show on Friday. I saw hope for guys like Matt Hardy, Dolph Ziggler, and John Morrison. CM Punk has turned from being just another good wrestler, to the hope for a new generation. A guy that could take the WWE into the next decade. But just like before, Vince crushes the hope like a bug.

Smackdown was gaining great momentum, you have an interesting feud with CM Punk and Undetaker, I had hope for Matt Hardy, the IC title is gaining credidbilty back. But then Vince does one of the stupidest thing he has ever done. He puts Batista on Smackdown. When I was watching RAW, once Batista said he was going to Smackdown, my hope, my dreams, just flushed down the drain. The first thing I thought to myself, was that Matt Hardy is not going to get his push. I started tearing up a little. I was mad and sad.

I have been a wrestling fan all my life, I have never seen a such a hard worker like Matt Hardy. Matt hurt himself for the WWE. Once the annouced that Batista was going to Smackdown I got sad because I was hoping that Matt was finally going to get his chance to shine as a main eventer. I was hoping to see Matt become World Champion. But now, I don't see that happening. With Batista coming to Smackdown, the WWE will Kill Matt Hardy's momentum, kind of like what they did to Christian back in 2005 before he left to TNA.

I will keep an open mind until I watch Smackdown on friday. But if they do anything I don't agree with I will turn the channel. If I read the Smackdown spoiler, and read anything I don't like, I will not tune in. I will not have my heart broken by the WWE again.

Basically, I have dedicated my life to this company. Instead of going out and hanging out with my friends, I have spent countless hours watching WWE TV. Watching the DVD. Reading up on the wrestlers, investing my childhood, and my life for this company. This is the last straw for Vince.

I know this blog really didn't make any sense. I just need to get this off my chest.

    Orton/Cena feud

Monday, September 14, 2009, 07:00 AM PST [General]

For the past three ppv's we have has some form of Cena vs. Orton. At Night of Champions, Orton defended the title against Cena and Triple H. Then at Summerfest we had Orton defend his title against Cena. Then yesterday at breaking point, we saw John Cena defeat Orton win the WWE championship in a Submission match. And more than likely they will have one more match against each other at Hell in the Cell.

I am so sick of this feud. It's boring. I hope to GOD that the match at Hell in the Cell is the last time these two wrestle for the next three years. Hopefully after Hell in the Cell, Cena will feud with Jack Swagger or Ted Dibiase anybody besides Orton, Triple H, or Batista.

If Vince doesn't changed the title situation on RAW, put somebody fresh in the main event. I will have no choice but to start tuning into Monday Night Football. I have stopped watching Raw before. Last year I stopped watching around late april, but Vince lured me back by putting the World Title on Punk for the first time.
