    TNA Turning Point Review

Sunday, November 15, 2009, 10:14 PM PST [General]

    TNA Turning Point Review

    X-Division Championship

    Amazing Red(c) vs. Homicide

Winner: Amazing Red to retain the X-Division Championship

    Rating: 3/5

This match was a phenomenal opener. It started the PPV the way it should of, also it foreshadowed how good the two main matches were going to be. I'm glad the put Red over. He seems like a leginament champion now. I hope they have one more match against each other.

TNA Knockouts Championship & TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship

ODB(c), Sarita(c) and Taylor Wilde(c) vs. The Beautiful People

Winners: ODB, Sarita and Taylor Wilde to retain their Championships

    Rating: 1.5/5

This was not good. TNA needs to Angelina Love back because Lacey Von Erich is not working. The Face team with ODB, Sarita and Wilde did good work but the Beautiful People were horrible. Also I hope they give Sarita a singles push in the near future because that girl can work.

    TNA Tag Team Championships

British Invasion(c) vs. Beer Money vs. Motor City Machine Guns

Winners: The British Invasion to retain the Tag Team Championships.

    Rating: 3.5/5

This was a good match up until the finish. If they had a good finish it could of been a 4/5. Great action at the begining. The Machine Guns were the MVPs of the match. My only problem with the match is that at the end the Machine Guns just disappered. I hope that the Machine Guns get a shot next month.

    Six Sides of Steel

    Tara vs. Awesome Kong

    Winner: Tara.

    Rating: 3/5

This wasn't as good as I was expecting but it was still pretty good. It's probably the best womens match I have seen in any promotion in a long time. No real serious complaints.

    Six Man Tag

Rhino and Team 3D vs. Hernandez, Matt Morgan, and D'Angelo Dinero

    Winners: Rhino and Team 3D.

    Rating: 3.5/5

This was a real good match. Dinero proved that he could hang with the big boys. I expect big thing to happen with Dinero in TNA. My only gripe with the match was that Rhino and Team 3D won and that Rhino got the pin. But other than that it was a really good match.

    Scott Steiner vs. Bobby Lashley

    Winner: Scott Steiner.

    Rating: 2/5

This match should of been about 7 minutes shorter. It dragged on too long. They should of just saved it for Impact.

    Desmond Wolfe vs. Kurt Angle

    Winner: Kurt Angle

    Rating: 5/5

This is what TNA should have every month on PPV. This was just Unbelieveable. This could rival Undertaker vs. HBK at WM for Match of the Year. I hope they have one more match next month.

    TNA World Heavyweight Championship

AJ Styles(c) vs. Daniels vs. Samoa Joe

Winner: AJ Styles to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

    Rating: 5/5

Wow, this was awesome. This match exceded my expectations. And just like the Wolfe/Angle match, this could rival HBK vs. Undertaker for Match of the Year. I hope they give Daniels a main event push. He was the MVP of this match.

    Overall Show

    Rating: 9.5/10.

MVP: Tie between Dinero and Daniels

This was just a phenomenal show. This was probably the best main stream PPV of the year. This was probably the best TNA PPV in a LONG time.

Superstar of the Year Monthly Update(October 1st -November 1st) & MOTY Update

Sunday, November 1, 2009, 05:14 PM PST [General]

Click Here for Last Months Update

Here is the Update for October - November

    1. Christian

    2. Chris Jericho

    3. CM Punk

    4. Jack Swagger

    5. Kofi Kingston

The Number 1 spot stays the same. Christian again has showed that he is the best that the WWE has to offer. After having a great matches with Chris Jericho, and Yoshi Tatsu, he is on fire. It would take a momumental colapse by Christian to lose the top spot.

For the first time since the first update, the number 2 spot does not belong to CM Punk. Chris Jericho enters the top 5, at the #2 spot. Chris Jericho has proved that he is a true champion out of all the main eventers. He had great matches with Christian and Kofi Kingston, and also he put them over. I was surprised that Jericho put them over, and for that Chris Jericho takes the #2 spot.

At the #3 spot, CM Punk drops one spot. He is the one of the few that didn't benefit from a feud with Undertaker. The WWE drop the ball with him this past month. He should still be champion, but he cant help it. He didn't really have a memorable match this past month, and that really hurt his momentum.

At the #4 spot, Jack Swagger retains. He really didn't have a memorable match, but he was able to save his momentum by his promos, also he has been booked really well. I expect great things from Swagger in the coming year.

At the #5 spot, Kofi enters the top 5 again. He was able to gain a spot back in the top 5 after just based off what he has done in the past couple weeks. They dropped the Jamaican gimmick and they are letting him be himself. A feud with Randy Orton is going to be huge for Kofi. I think that will benefit him. Just like Jack Swagger I expect great things out of Kofi in 2010.

    So Long Too...

William Regal, he lost a lot of momentum. He really hasn't done much this past month.

Goldust, the WWE drop the ball with him. They need to start a push with him before the crowd forgets about him... again. He didn't have that good of a month.

    Bragging Rights Review

Monday, October 26, 2009, 08:20 AM PST [General]

    The Miz vs. John Morrison

    Winner: The Miz

    Rating: 3/5

Pretty good match. I was suprised that The Miz went over Morrison.

Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, and Natalya vs. Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, and Melina

Winner: Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, and Natalya.

    Rating: 3/5

I was extremely surprised on how good of a match this was. The outcome was extremely predictable, due to the match before.

    Fatal 4-Way

Undertaker(c) vs. CM Punk vs. Batista vs. Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship

Winner: The Undertaker to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

    Rating: 3.5/5

This was a pretty good match. It was about what I expected. My only gripe about the match, was that it was on 10 minutes long. I think it could of went atleast 15 minutes. But other than that it was still pretty good.

Batista's heel turn was extremely well done. When Batista told Rey that he was going to rip his head off, I started to laugh my ass off. It was the way that he delivered the line that was so funny. They also made Batista look sadistic, which was good. Maybe we might see the return of 2004 Batista.

Team Smackdown(Chris Jericho, Kane, Matt Hardy, The Hart Dynasty, and Finlay) vs. Team RAW(DX, Jack Swagger, Cody Rhodes, Mark Henry, Kofi Kingston, and Big Show)

    Winner: Team Smackdown.

    Rating: 3.5/5

This was a pretty good match. Everbody got a chance to wrestle. Everybody got a chance to hit their spots. I thought it was cool that they let Matt Hardy hit the side effect on HBK. The ending was well done. Also, watching Triple H get knocked out was pretty entertaining. So overall it was a good match.

    Iron Man Match

    Randy Orton(c) vs. John Cena

Winner: John Cena to win the WWE Championship

    Rating: 3.5/5

This match was better than I expect. There were a lot of cool spots. I loved the fire works spot, Ortons face expression was priceless. The first 30 minutes of the match were really good. But the match went downhill in the 2nd half of the match. I think if the 2nd half was just as good as the first half, we would of been looking at the match of the year. The only other thing I have to say is, YAY!!!! No more Cena/Orton matches.

    Overall

    Rating: 8/10

This was a pretty good ppv. Way better than I expect. I am glad that I ended up watching it.

My ideas for WWE title feuds after the Iron Man Match.

Sunday, October 25, 2009, 05:11 AM PST [General]

    If Orton Wins

They have some good options to carry them into the Royal Rumble. They have MVP, Mark Henry, Shawn Michaels, and Kofi Kingston(maybe). If I had to pick anyone I would go with Shawn Michaels for the last two PPV's of the year(Survivor Series and TLC). Then have him fight MVP at Royal Rumble. At the same time, build Ted Dibiase to win the Royal Rumble. Then him and Orton could feud into Wrestlemania(kind of like what they did with Batista back in late 2004 and early 2005).

    If Cena Wins

They could have Cena feud with Legacy. Have Randy Orton plot a scheme to get the title off Cena so he could have another shot at the title.

They could give Ted a shot at the title at Suvivor Series. After Ted loses, start to heavily tease a feud between Dibiase and Orton. Have Orton become disgusted by Dibiase.

Then have Cody fight Cena at TLC. During the match, Orton tries to help Cody win the title, but Dibiase makes the save and helps Cena overcome the odds. Orton and Dibiase start their feud.  They could have Cody be Orton's lackey in his feud with Dibiase.

At Royal Rumble they could have Cena wrestle Triple H or Shawn Michaels.

While all these feuds are going on, they could be building up Jack Swagger. He is supposed to go undefeated the rest of the year, so by Royal Rumble time he should be extremely hot. Have Jack Swagger win the Royal Rumble, then him and Cena could feud into Wrestlemania.
