    Harry "DH" Smith

In keeping with the Hart Family connections, I decided my next blog would be on another up and coming member of the family.

Harry started wrestling at the age of 8 being trained by his father, Davey Boy and uncle, Bruce. His first taste of the big time was at the age of 10 at a house show in Calgary where he had a tag match with his cousin Ted Annis against  T.J. Wilson & Andrew Picarnia. His official debut wouldn't come until the age of 15 and he became a full-time member of Stampede Wrestling shortly after. He was first offered a WWE contract in 2004 but, decided to finish college and work in Japan first. In the same year he began teaming with T.J. Wilson as the 'Stampede Bulldogs' eventually forming a stable called 'The Hart Foundation 2.0' with Wilson, Jack Evans, and Teddy Hart.

Harry would go on a 5 week tour of Japan in January of 2005 as 'Black Assassin'  breaking his hand while there. He would return to Stampede in late 2005 losing to T.J Wilson in the tournament finals for the vacant North American Heavyweight Championship. He would then got to England in January 2006 in 1PW to be the mystery opponent for Jeff Jarrett.

In April 2006, Harry would sign a developmental deal with WWE making his debut running to the ring with other Raw stars to chase away ECW. He would debut in OVW in February of 2007 in a tag match with Kofi Kingston against The Belgium Brawler & Nicholas Sinn. They would briefly team being known as the Commonwealth Connection. Harry was then sent to DSW to reform the Stampede Bulldogs. DSW would close in the middle of 2007 and Harry would be sent to FCW winning a 21-man Battle Royal to become the very first FCW Southern Heavyweight Champion. He would then form 'The Next Generation Hart Foundation' with Nattie Neidhart & Teddy Hart after which he would form another version of 'The New Hart Foundation' with Hart, Wilson, and Ted DiBiase Jr. He would lose the FCW Southern Heavyweight Title to Afa Jr. in October.

He would make his debut on Raw in the same month defeating Carlito with his father's running Powerslam. He would be suspended in November and has been featured sporadically since. He was drafted to Smackdown in the 2008 WWE Supplemental Draft, he has yet to appear on the brand.

Harry has been around wrestling a lonnng time and has perfected his craft throughout those years. We haven't been able to see much of him on the main roster yet but, when we do he could follow in the footsteps of his father's legacy. That's something I would like to see.
