About Me: Critical Restraint, it all began in FEB of 2005, GUITARIST BEN and DRUMMER ALEX met out of shire luck, jammed for a half hour and wrote there very first song, ADDICTION, they decided then to start a band. The music started flowing with the making of JASON, KILLER, THAT ONE, KRAZY, GOOD STUFF, SHARK, SCARY, I DON'T KNOW, and LITTLE BIRDIE. After four months these songs were laid down on CRITICAL RESTRAINTs very first cd. Recorded and mixed by TSP. They struggled through many singers and bass players for the next several months, in Sept of '05 they produced 4 more songs to there list BOOB, GENUIS, MIXED and POOP. Still they struggled and pressed on and on. By the next spring they added 9 more songs on there list including: DAMN, CONFUSE, CONTAGIOUS, SUPER, BEATS, BOX, PRICK, DOOHICKIE & HAIRY. They picked up couple of musicians and started playing in March of 06 there first show was at The Fuzzy Duck bar in Marshfield WI. It was a hit and started a fan group. Two months later they were on 104.1 the blaze radio station out of merrill,for naked at nine with MR.Bill. There fan base continued to grow and grow. Problems for the band continued with losing both there bass player and singer, so they had to search and search. Alex and Ben decided to move to Green Bay that summer and there search there continued. Within the first several months they finally found the VOICE of the band in JOE, a awesome singer that took there music and put it on a higher pedistall. Still there search for a bass player was a grouling and tiring search. Finally they pulled out the stops and brought in HENRY who brought the DEPTH to the band. They added 7 more songs to there list ALI WAUBA, FOREPLAY, HEAD, TINKLE, WOODY, HOMO and BUD. Critical Restraint is Joe Ritchie(vocals, lyrics), Ben (lead guitar), Alex (drums, vocals) and Henry (bass guitar). Self-Titled, their debut, will be released in Winter 2007 and has already pre-sold more than fifteen hundred copies. So come and check them out.
