The NHL Stanley Cup Finals are this weekend, and if you've followed my blog lately, you know I'm a die-hard fan of the Eastern Conference Champions, the Pittsburgh Penguins.

As you can see, the Pens are growing their "Hacksaw"-like playoff beard.

But the NHL's prized trophy, the Stanley Cup, is cherished by hockey players worldwide. It's more than 100 years old, and has the unique tradition of being given to each winning player and executive for a day to enjoy on their own -- complete with security guard from the Hockey Hall of Fame that guards the trophy's well-being.

Other than the various WWE championship titles, WWE has no "trophy" per se that is awarded in this fashion. The Money in the Bank briefcase is the closest to such a annually-awarded cherished trophy as you

In the WWE.com office kitchenette/break room, there is an old-school STIGA table hockey game on the table near the vending machines that some co-workers use to blow off steam. The table's teams are the Detroit Red WIngs and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Both those teams are up 3 games to none in the Stanley Cup Conference Finals and looks to be on a collision course to battle for Lord Stanley's Cup.

So, with Pittsburgh's dominating 4-1 win over Filthy Philly last night, our kitchenette hockey table may have predicted the Stanley Cup Finals. Good on you, hockey table!

Of course, this means that the Penguins (who are 11-1 so far in the playoffs -- only the fourth team in history to do so) are looking for the sweep Thursday night. Nothing would be sweeter than to knock off Cheesesteak City

...No, not THAT Mr. Kennedy.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Tyler Kennedy threw down like his WWE namesake Sunday night, taking on the Philadelphia Flyers' Scottie Upshall to start the hostilities in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Watch the clip here:

Earlier this year, I wrote about how the Penguins were using Mr. Kennedy's "Turn up the Trouble" theme and the MISTEEEERRRRR ... KENNEDYYYYYY trademark call after Tyler scored a goal.

No goals for the kid tonight, but the Mighty 'Guins go up 2 games to 0 on the hated Flyers with a 4-2 victory.

With the playoffs rolling on and more and more Penguins players looking like Hacksaw Jim Duggan (with those playoff beards), it's going to be a fun ride to the Stanley Cup. Games 3 and 4 in Philly on Tuesday

After watching the Pittsburgh Penguins defeat the Philadelphia Flyers in the first game of the Stanley Cup Eastern Conference Finals, I saw Hockey Night in Canada's legendary announcer Don Cherry wearing one of the most eye-burning suits that I've ever seen.

YIPES! This suit could melt Buffalo snow! Cherry has a long history of wearing the most colorful attire ever seen by man.

Of course, WWE has its own announcer fashion plate at the Raw commentators desk:

So, who takes the announcer fashion crown? Don Cherry or Jerry "The King" Lawler? Leave your comments below.

Other than winning the WWE Title at WrestleMania, nothing comes close in the sporting world to the feeling of winning an overtime series clincher in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. And I'm still coming down from the high of seeing the Pittsburgh Penguins (my hometown team) defeat the hated NY Rangers 3-2 in OT this afternoon.

Since the WWE.com office is split very lopsidedly in favor of the local NYC-area team, I thought I'd get my gloating done now in my WWE Fan Nation blog, so that their will be no leftover hostilities come Monday. And I'm going to do this with some Photoshopped help from the fine guys at The Pens Blog.

First off, Marian Hossa was MONEY! Scoring the first goal on a beautiful power play one-timer (seen above) and the OT game-winner, he was flat out CASH!

Yes,
