The NHL Stanley Cup Finals are this weekend, and if you've followed my blog lately, you know I'm a die-hard fan of the Eastern Conference Champions, the Pittsburgh Penguins.
As you can see, the Pens are growing their "Hacksaw"-like playoff beard.
But the NHL's prized trophy, the Stanley Cup, is cherished by hockey players worldwide. It's more than 100 years old, and has the unique tradition of being given to each winning player and executive for a day to enjoy on their own -- complete with security guard from the Hockey Hall of Fame that guards the trophy's well-being.
