    ECW's got Swagger

    In a Live Blog two months ago, I sat down with the young ECW rookie, Jack Swagger, who promised the fans that his only mission here in WWE was to win the ECW Championship. And he would remain undefeated in doing so.

    Granted, that's the goal of all rookies in Raw, SmackDown and ECW -- make your mark, and climb the ladder to win the brand's top title.

    But tonight on ECW, Swagger accomplished what many seemed impossible. He defeated champion Matt Hardy to become the 11th ECW Champion since the reincarnation of the brand. And he did it in a fashion very few people have been able to achieve against Hardy.

    Swagger looked very impressive tonight in Sioux City, and was able to use an exposed turnbuckle (which Swagger had torn off early in the match) to stun Hardy and hit the Gut Wrench Suplex to score the pinfall.

    You could see the stunned faces in the crowd, who probably never expected to see the former amateur standout overcome the experienced Hardy brother. But now they know ... Swagger is for real, and can not be taken lightly, and he has the gold (err...silver) around his waist to prove it.

    Congrats to Jack Swagger! But who will be the first Superstar to defeat the young champion from the heartland?

    Who knows?? ... but there's now 15 lbs. of title as a prize for the person who does.

    CoreyC, there are at least four people the WWE could pit against Jack Swagger that would be absolutely awesome.

    I'm very impressed about the Matt Hardy/Jack Swagger match. It was definitely entertaining throughout, from start to finish and in the end, Jack Swagger is still undefeated and the new ECW champion. Now the question is, who will be able to end the undefeated streak and even possible take the title? Well, there are specific individuals in my personal opinion who I wouldn't mind seeing as the next ECW champion.

    Matt Hardy will end Swagger's winning streak when Hardy uses his rematch clause for the ECW Championship, something that he didn't do with the United States Championship, so watch out for Swagger's reign atop ECW to end just as quickly as it started.

    The Tommy Dreamer piece tonight was a very emotional one and I'd LOVE to see him finally win the ECW title and beat Jack Swagger, maybe at Wrestlemania 25. That would be a match to see.

    To Me i Think Jack Swagger will not last with the ECW Championship..he will lose it before Wrestlemania...i mean really,who would want to see him defend it at Wrestlemania???...my options are..
